Hey everyone,

just been searching the forum and did not find much on this.

Does anyone have one? I note the current spec'ed at 1A, but from the comments it seems it gets hot so would have to be running at more than that.

I hope that someone trys it and gives a report. It would be great if it would throw like an X9 and still fit into a jacket pocket.

I thought I read a deeper reflector doesn't really have much of an affect on throw compared to width. This looks like a regular C8 style light to me.

+1 agreed.

Throw is just about emitter surface brightness and reflector diameter. Depth will contribute to corona but not throw. This is basically a C8 with XM-L.

the hotspot won't be brighter, but the corona will be

and the spill will be smaller than regular c8

I think it is like the C10 instead of the C8 (look at the total length)

Yes, I've got one. It's pretty darn bright, one of the brightest single 18650 lights I have (and I've quite a few). Beam pattern is actually not bad, without having a very defined hotspot. Overall I'd say it's a really good buy at $24++. I've never used it on high for more than 5-6 minutes so cannot comment on how hot it gets beyond that. After about 5 minutes it feels a little warm to me but not overly so. Really, at $24+ I'm not complaining. Cheers
