Just ordered 10 clips from his store.
Bought few from Simon, those clips also fit Fenix E35UE quite nicely.
What diameter & length are these (can”t find it on Simon”s site) as I am wondering if they would fit a Thorfire C8s.
The recess on the Thorfire is 23mm diameter, between the 2 tube recess” is 40mm & the length from the tail recess to where the tube starts to flare out is about 50mm so if it were designed for a tube about 23mm & no longer than 50mm it should fit.
The inner diameter of the clip attachment is 23mm. Overall length is a hair over 65mm. Keep in mind a little over 15mm of that overall length is eaten up by the deep carry design so the distance from the clip attachment point to the bottom of the clip comes in under 50mm.
I don’t know if that makes it too long for the Thorfire C8 or not. I know it does fit the Convoy C8 as you see below though not entirely ideal in my opinion. Opinions vary though…

I actually ordered 3 yesterday after seeing a picture of a Thorfire C8s with one of the Convoy deep carry clips fitted.
2 for my Thorfires & 1 for a convoy S2+.

anyone have a picture with the clip on the very last groove? seems to me that would put the top of the tailcap about a inch down in from the top of your pocket? second groove about the same as the bolt on clip?
I didn’t know how much anyone would care for that but it’s been on my mind for a while. Give me a few minutes…
Thanks for giving me the excuse. 
It actually sits less than half an inch above the tail but the clip retention is still just as strong and solid.

I was rather disappointed with Simon this time out. I ordered more than a week ago and it hadn’t shipped. I contacted him for an update and it would have been ‘maybe’ sometime next week before the order even finishes processing. That would have been 2-3 weeks to process and another 2-3 weeks to ship. I’m just (personally) unwilling to wait 4-6 weeks for something I could/should have ordered from Richard at M.E. and I would have received it last week.
Just venting a bit but I’ve had several companies jerk me around on various products. Most were Chinese and one U.S. and I just don’t want to do business with a company that can’t ship quickly. I know he’s just moved and they had a holiday or are having a holiday but I feel you don’t advertise that you’re up and running and then can’t ship in less than 2 weeks (or longer). I guess I just don’t want to wait 4-6 weeks for something I could have at my door in 3 days for a few dollars more.
Sorry for the venting, just promised an update in my previous post and wanted to update.
Now you know why we all get the CNY blues around here… Two weeks of clicking “Refresh” on New Arrival pages… But the same old arrivals from before…
I actually wondered about it when you said the store was back up and running. It wasn’t working for me until a few days after you said that and when it was open there was s a disclaimer banner that nothing will ship until after February 15th. Unfortunate for you but there’s nothing Simon can do about it. The Chinese New Year pretty much shuts the all of China down for near a month. I also expect orders from any Chinese supplier shipping right after CNY have a higher chance of shipping issues as they try to catch up from taking a month off. Fasttech doesn’t even take orders during this time. I think I actually prefer a full shutdown like that as there is no confusion.
Cheap as they are you could always grab a handful from Richard for a few dollars.
Edit: I do sympathize. This stinks for me too. Simon and I typically communicate daily and I’ve gotten maybe two responses from him in the last three weeks. I knew it was coming but man… a whole month? Sigh… CNY blues sounds about right.

You’re quite welcome. Your post was a good reminder for me. I’d been thinking about what it would be like mounted on that last ring since I started tinkering with the design but by the time the clips came it had been pushed to the back of my mind.
Thank you. I probably should have expected it. I was surprised when I was able to see/order from Simon’s website a day before expected. Didn’t see a banner at that time so it may not have been up yet. No big deal really and life goes on 
i don’t like how high up the tail cap sits with with the old style clip. always seems like it is too easy to turn the light on by accident. and i never realize till my pocket is 150 degrees, all my lights are triples running off FET drivers with copper spacers from MTN.
OK, I went to order a couple of clips and some other bits from Simon’s store. Ended up with 8 small items totalling $14, all of which would fit in a small jiffy bag. At checkout the only way I could find to upgrade to registered shipping was to pay $2 PER ITEM i.e. $16 extra! Surely that can’t be right, or am I missing something?
He changed something in his shipping for small items and I don’t completely understand it and have not had a chance to address it with him yet. Get your order in your cart and then PM Simon about it through the Ali system. He will help sort it out and it certainly won’t cost you $16 for shipping. This was his way of trying to address the complaints about minimum quantity orders but it seems a bit confusing. The best advice I can give is to contact him directly. My guess is that the system can’t bundle it properly but after you contact Simon the shipping will almost certainly drop down to a few dollars in total, not per item.
Edit: This happened during the factory move and over CNY so a few things like this will need to be ironed out.
I remember seeing in one of the listings something about paying for upgraded shipping on one item, and he will ship all together with the upgraded shipping.
