Mouseover images are supported anywhere that the Advanced Post Editor is supported. However, for now the mouseover code needs to be manually added to the posts using the Advanced Posts Editor "Source" button. The source code looks like this:

Worse than that! It’s custom functionality :-o hacked together by yours truly with a combination of Fields/Flags/Rules/Userpoints and custom PHP snippets when absolutely necessary.
Not sure yet how to go about implementing this. Do you think a sticky post with an easy copy/paste block of code for rollover images would suffice?
Sorry about this one. That was also a piece of add-on functionality that I installed a long time ago, and it doesn't seem to be available for this new version. I'll see if I can eventually find a work around or put together something custom. But I'd recommend for now that everyone give the Simple Post Editor a try-- it's much faster and cleaner and more enjoyable (for me) to use, unless it's something highly complex like a review. At any rate, sorry for the reduced functionality at the moment, I guess you gain some and you lose some with technology "upgrades". :)

Budgetlightforum.com works on my phone (mobile internet) but on my computer at work I still get the page with links to the temp. website and blog. I already erased history and cookies, it does not work on three different browsers. I’ll try again at home.
Hmm, I imagine that they have a DNS caching server at work that hasn’t refreshed yet.
I’m happy to see the BLF back on line. However, it does not appear to be any more mobile friendly than the old site. I have a Galaxy S5. When I tap most links I still get the magnified selection box pop up and have to tap again. Plus the print is small. Not that it will bother me much because I do mostly use a 10” or larger display. Knowing how much trouble it is to make major changes to websites I have to wonder why a more mobile friendly redesign was not followed? All the same I do love BLF.
Hi there, a new theme was definitely not a priority for this upgrade. The upgrade was basically obligatory because they are going to stop checking for security holes in the older version we were running. So my main concern was to upgrade the BLF core functionality, which is still a work in progress. I still need to re-implement things like spam control and a better email notification system. Maybe in the future I can look into mobile support.
I’m with SB on this one… I’ve seen more issues with Subject Lines containing the default characters, then posts are edited and that changes… Or it has some weird statement that just doesn’t fit out of context… My vote is to leave it disabled.
I agree, forget the subject line. It was distracting and not being used correctly anyway.
I’m not sure about the signature line rules on this new setup, but I think it would be nice if there was a a very strict size limit on any pictures that go there. I know the member I have in mind means well, but every time he posts it makes a mess of the page.
Waiting for it, I am missing it.
Generally I believe the upgrade went fairly well, as a user I have seen very few problems.
I’ve tried to use it, not leave it just duplicating the first few words of the response, but I won’t miss it
Hm, and I’d just a few days ago suggested people with unwanted flattop cells (those who would rather trade than fight with the seller) make sure to show their location
so any of us near enough to meet and buy or trade could work something out.
Is there any other way to detect proximity?
Like (for US) matching the first 4 digits of the ZIP, for example? That’d find people who are somewhat close.
I’m sure the advertisers can locate all of us right down to the nearest wifi or cell site or street address — but do they share that useful tool with their flocks and herds out standing in their fields?
Once I’ve seen the same picture twice or thrice, I usually try UBlock’s “block element” and try to avoid seeing it again.
It speeds up the pages and reduces the “bouncing” quite a bit, though the accumulated filter lines eventually will choke my adblocker.
Any better way to reduce imagery that’s repeatedly shown, or outdated, would be most welcome.

I’m missing only a small point: Formerly the location of the members where shown (if they posted it in the account). Sometimes the locations helps, if a member is looking for something special (spare parts).
These all dns problems in 99% cases come from change done incorrectly and not from “dns being slow”.
DNS zone contains TTL record which informs dns resolvers how long they can cache information. Properly done move is like this:
- assuming current TTL is 4 days (for example) -> lower TTL to 5 minutes
- wait 4 days until all cache entries on resolvers are known to expire
- then do changes (remember that TTL is only 5 minutes now, so that’s how long resolvers will cache the information)
First impression, I like the new Look.
It still looks like snot in a sock on my monitor, but that’s Winders’ fault as much as anybody’s. The ad at the top is wider than the screen, so I sometimes get the Horizontal Thumb because of the ads. No “Width=100%” on ads, eh? I’ll repeat my standard whine, that script kiddies (the ones who wrote the middleware we’re using here as well as FireFox contributors and Winders code puppies) need to get some sort of clue and test their work as if they once met a “professional” programmer. (“It works on my system” would get you a stern talking-to at the Help Desks I managed.)
Question: I really liked the old “Subject”’ (whatever it was called, I forgot) line on Replies. That appears to be gone now. No heartbreaker, but it was a nice touch (IMNERHO, of course) to be able to lead off with a pithy sentence to summarize the upcoming post. The existing “Subject” lines are gone too. (I only use the “Simple Post Editor”, but if I have to change to the ‘Complicated’ (“non-Simple”) one — oh, well.)
PS: Speaking of professional programmers, did you forget that “The first half of a project takes the first 90% of the time; the second half takes the other 90% of the time.”
