Groupbuy for UNI-T UT210e clamp meter for tailcap current readings

Yesterday my UT210E arrived, ordered mid-January.

I found a copper sheet 1mm thick and 11mm wide and bent a simple ring, not as nice as djozz did, but it does the job.
Copper bride and some Samsung INR 18650-30Q will arrive soon, for all flashlights which can handle 3A and more.

Thanks to Freeme and BangGood.

Still waiting for mine to arrive - it’s currently circumnavigating the globe via Norway….

Received mine today but I havent had time to play with it…

Got it today, it is way smaller than I expected.
Did anyone found english user manual? It says on product page that it comes with “English manual” but I only received chinese booklet!

I feel your pain. I ordered mine on February 3 and tracking still says:
“Item is not found at this moment, If necessary, please verify with the package sender and check back later”

www.uni-trend.com/uploads/soft/wanyongbiao/UT210C.D.E-English%2520Manual.pdf

thanks but that one did not work for me, I googled this http://www.pinsonne.de/media/daten/UT210C.D.E-English%20Manual.pdf

That’s the one I downloaded, too.

For german speaking folks: Google(bedienungsanleitung ut210e) is finding a detailed manual.
The delivery of my UT210e included the english manual.

I got mine Thursday and had the same “wow it is small!” thoughts. Happy with the meter and used it this evening to teach one of my Robotics team members a little bit of battery care and troubleshooting. It is small enough to ride in my cargo pants pocket during our competition Saturday morning for quick access.

Thanks for the opportunity!

Hey guys, I was late to get on this group buy. Got a email from BG saying it was out of stock and expected to restock Feb 19th. They gave me 3 options . Wait, store credit, or refund.

First I think it is great of BG to offer the group buy and notify me the out of stock issue and give me options.

My question to UNI-T UT210e owners.

1. Is it worth waiting for ?
2. How easy is it to use? I know nothing about amp readings.
3. Does it seam accurate ?

I think it’s great to have. The only thing it’s missing is ability to measure the tiny tiny currents by the leads instead of the clamp, but I have a traditional DMM that can handle that for me.

I would say it’s worth getting, and 4 days isn’t that long to wait if they are right on their restock date.

Thanks PD. I will click the wait for restock button. That will give me time to figure out how to use it. I found a few video’s on it I need to check out.

Ok, I clicked wait for restock and BG page pop up with this.

Wow, sounds like I just ordered a garden hose.

@pilotdog68 - I’m glad that you brought this topic up. The UT210E seems like a great deal with the group buy price (and a good deal even without it). I just broke down and ordered a pair.

I got mine today. Was there any function for keeping the highest value on the display?

Mine arrived yesterday. Will be testing out a few lights this weekend.

Mine arrived yesterday with batteries inserted. Shipped via NLPost.
Thanks!!!

Done Blow’d up my dmm… went ahead and placed an order for the 210E. :stuck_out_tongue:

What are you guys using for the loop? I’ve seen piece of copper, and 12awg, anything else?

I thought I might use some 10/12awg silicone wire, solder a magnet on one end and leave the other end bare but solder the exposed tip to keep it tidy.

I’m using a piece of 3 x 1.5mm.sq power cord, twisted and soldered at the end. That is roughly the equivalent of 10/11awg. rapidtables.com

Banggood now shows the camp meter back in stock, so I just placed my order.
The coupon code worked fine!

Thanks Freeme for all you efforts in making this group buy happen.
