FastTech New Arrivals & Promotion

Hi Jerry,

I checked the code and it is still valid. Please make sure you place the code in ” Have a coupon code” in “Summary of Cart”.

Thank you.

Noel

I ordered a few minutes ago and coupon (15%) still working.
Thanks!

Dear FastTech

I recently received an order from you for a number of items. One LED was missing from the order. I tried telling you this on your website but you wanted to have a form filled out including pictures of the front and back of the package and another picture of all the items displayed side by side. I couldn’t do this, so I spoke to your chat person. He said without the pictures I could prove nothing. I asked for your email, and gave him my email. He said you could not communicate by email.

I order a lot of stuff from you. In fact I have two orders ready to be shipped right now. If you can’t take my word that one single LED was missing from one of my orders, or make communication easier, then perhaps I should be looking for a different dealer.

I ordered a few hours ago and the code wouldn’t work for me.
Neither did the BLF code.

Why are you unable to take pictures?

I thought almost everyone had that ability these days. My first cell phone from 1999 had a camera. I photograph the front and back of the packages from any of the overseas sellers as a matter of course. I had a switch go bad on a light from GB once and even though it was only a few days old they insisted on package photos as well as content photos. So now I photograph everything that I receive.

Why am I unable to take pictures? Because I have a great number of things taking up my time right now, including taking care of an invalid person. Because I got about half a dozen packages delivered from China on the same day and all the bags look alike. Because I already opened and used a couple of the parts before I tried to notify FastTech that one small item was missing (time constraints). Because the LED that was missing is not worth the trouble or the time to take pictures, upload them to my computer, then transfer links to FastTech.

The point is, I already told them that the package arrived intact, no damage to the package, so nothing to show… I have already placed four orders with them this year for a large number of items and a fair amount of money. What ever happened to customer service?

Why is there no way to contact them directly?

Well I understand what you are trying to say. You just don’t want to bother with it. I get that. But if you want a company to start taking a loss and reimbursing people without proof of missing led’s or whatever it would seem fair to me that they ask for proof.
If I had enough time to make a post as long as yours I would certainly have had enough time to fulfill the simple requirements of the company to send them proof. I know, you have already spent too much time on this and need to get on with what your doing.
I’m sorry but I have to take exception when someone want to start ragging on Fasttech. They are a good company, one of the few left that give help and resolve issues without jacking you around 90 percent or more of the time.

Thank you Fasttech for all the great deals I got over this Holiday! I really cleaned up!!
:face_with_monocle:

You can think what you want, that’s fine with me. My post is to FastTech because there’s no other way to contact them.
Now let me dissect the things you said…
“I understand what you are trying to say.’’…I didn’t TRY to say anything, I said what I meant to say.
”You just don’t want to bother with it.“…Wrong interpretation, Once again, I said what I meant.
”… without proof of missing led’s…“…Pictures of the envelope and the items in it are not proof of anything, except that you received the package.
”I know, you have already spent too much time on this”…It took me about a minute to write the original post.
“…want to start ragging on Fasttech…”…I wasn’t ragging on FastTech. I was quite clear that this is the only way I can find to contact them.

Now, let me suggest that we discontinue this discourse before it turns into a word war. I don’t want that to happen.

+1

A picture won’t do any good if someone is being dishonest. So I don’t see why they are asking for a picture. ( I mean somebody could easy make a picture without an item, so what would that proof? )
Just open a pay-pal dispute and get your money back.

They did leave an xm-l2 I purchased out of an order that shipped right before the holiday. What all should I take pics of? I tossed the shipping packaging not thinking I’d need it.

I just had an incident with another company that wanted pictures of items I never received. I took a picture of my empty mailbox :sunglasses: Didn’t work. Had to file a dispute.

I get the impression FT wants pictures to make sure you got the right package, and it isn’t a different package that’s still in the mail.

Either way I don’t think it’s unreasonable to ask for simple pictures, but once I did have to tell them I had already thrown away the package and I still got a refund on a wrong-item-sent issue.

I just had to test this for myself, took my phone, made two photos (4MB in size/each), sent them to myself via email (faster and easier than attaching the phone to the computer), all in ~107 seconds +–2 seconds…

  • first thing I do when I receive something is to check that everything I ordered is in the package/delivered… that would be a good habit for everyone.

I just got a shipping notification from Fasttech. It included a picture of the envelope, with the shipping label. Do they always do that? I like that idea. First time I’ve ordered from them.

In my expirience, yes.

Yes they do. Gearbest has even starting doing that sometimes too. I agree, it’s nice.

Every time I have ordered they have.
