World's smallest led flashlight

Hey guys, hurry up, 14 hours remaining for 15 now but possible 20 lumens small flashlight in kickstarter. (the bullet)
here is the link.

The light is inexpensive, but I don’t feel like spending $3 in batteries every week.

Think so, I don’t know how much power they need really, just saw it and said I’ll post it if someone wants it,
It looks like it runs on 3, kind of like LR41s or so, Streamlight nano has 4 buttons and they last a bit more than that and I salvage 3 of them from one .20p lighter after it has been emptied of butane and needs to be thrown.

Not the smallest LED flashlight.
DQG Spy: 27mm-6 grams
bullet: 30mm-6 grams.

Pretty flashlight the bullet, by the way

Yeap, I have seen the DQG Spy, that is one crazy light, and I was thinking that it should have been smaller than that, and I didn’t believe that bullet was the smallest, just posted their title,
and the spy is 120-130 lumen, wow, amazing. like almost 10 times more powerful as well.

It’s nicely designed, cool.
I tried to open their website but it’s very slow from here.

Looks like something that may raise an eyebrow with TSA or other airport security. There is a large e-cigarette company called Innokin, that made an e-cig in the looks and shape of a grenade. TSA banned that immediately.

If “smallest” is your only requirement then I think you’ll find the MBI Matchbook lights hard to beat.

i found this most interesting…

if this had been “me” ? I could have paid myself 100,000 dollars for a one year salary right off the top.

i would have had 253,317 dollars to spend on machining and casting setup, and anything else i thought would be cool to own…

and had a whole YEAR to try to make the first one, with money left over to order them “in bulk” from an overseas company after i had my schtick down.

amazing…

in the end, i’d still own all the machining, tooling and casting equipment, i would have to deliver 12 thousand odd lights to the “backers” who put up 28 dollars each.

Well, that’s how the funding on Kickstarter works.
Because starting a workshop would cost a lot of money.

Astrolux has a 3x LR4 bullet keychain light too nowadays:

Copper, Stainless Steel or:

aluminium.

I received the copper one on a discount from Elfeland store on AliExpress couple days ago.

I’d say it does about 5 to 10 lumens of cold white light.
Enough for finding a keyhole and things like that.

It had some contact problems though, and the threads are not too good, but i could fix the problems by filing the body down a bit (so the tailcap screws in further) and replacing the O ring (so the tailcap doesn’t screw loose and you lose the head).

It’s my first full copper light.

I picked up some of the original ones from the kickstarter and wish I hadn’t They are pretty finicky. Basically they are just a 5mm LED with the tails bent to make contact. I find mine unreliable and the few threads make the tail come off too easy. They basically went in the parts box as a live and learn experience.

these things kill me
they act like no one has ever done this before
photon X-light is a great key chain light - has many modes including CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE DIMMING
very rare in regular size lights, even
batteries are 2x2032 lithium
nice white light

lighter than this thing, brighter, smaller

and they have been out for about 8 years

wle

The battery type and the low output kills it for me. I’ll keep my USB rechargeable 130 lumen Jetbeam Mini-1. Thanks anyway.

Five pieces a buck:

What about now? They already have the tooling and still doing the same thing:

What’s even more outrageous - they flat out lie… Scroll down near the middle to the “What makes us different? ” part, check the picture and caption underneath… See for yourself what they claim about having no competition…

Really amazing, but these led flashlight prices should be very expensive,if the price is low, I will certainly collect! Lol

wow, 15 whole lumens ?
what a beast
my bic lighter puts out more light
whats the use of this ?
