[eBay] XML bike light for $21, shipped

First a word of caution: when I think "bike", I think "motorcycle", not bicycle. I know next to nothing about bike lights, other than that DX sells a ton and that they tend to be a bit expensive. This may very well be too good to be true. I don't know. Proceed at your own risk.

With that out of the way, I just saw a XM-L bike light on eBay for $21 shipped (with accessories and batteries). This one looks a lot like the one DX is selling for twice that. And from the looks of it, it seems to be a pretty popular item.

Personally, I have no use for one so I won't be buying it but I thought I'd pass this on. :)

Edit: First auction over. Updated link. Now $21.50.

Pictures have SSC P7...

It's really really cheap! I think i will give it a try.

May be they are old-stock SSC-P7

I think you won't get an xm-l but who knows.

I was going to click Buy It Now button... and now "This listing has ended", 199 sold.

I hope he relists again this item.

I sent a question to the seller about the led being XM-l or SSC and he didn´t answer.

If you look at the buying history, the last 100 units were sold in just an hour!

How the heck do that many qualified buyers find out about an XM-L bike light and make that many sales in that amount of time?!

i smell a rat ..listings don't just disappear . you can always see what has been sold and for how much and the sellers name ,rating ,feedback etc.. nada

I remember when it became popular to sell items that don't exist and then run. One guy was able to rake in $1 mil in a few weeks without delivering a single product. Of course, you have to get it done in that short of a time span because you need to avoid negative feedback to keep the buyers coming.

That’s true, and I see it often. Some Chinese sellers do their work OK, they get a lot of positive feedback for a year or two, and then they just stop sending items and then disappear!

In this case, the seller didn't wait to have thousands of positive feedback, he just did it.

Too cheap to be true :(
