I found this Rechargeable Pocket Flashlight that is 600 lumens for $35.99 it includes a Rechargeable Battery and Charger. Looks like a good deal and it"s on sale.
Received some of the 12W Thorfire LED Bulbs deal alerted in the following posts:
The box they come in is quite nice. Some of the wording on it is fun to read. The bulbs appear to be quite well made. Apparently, these are the lowest of the line as the 80 CRI option is the lowest available. There is 85, 90, and 95 CRI options also available. The tint is supposed to be just pure white, but the tint appears slightly green to me. Whatever the tint is, I donāt like it. My wife doesnāt like it at all and she loves cool tints. There is a short delay before the bulb lights up. At this moment, I regret the purchase. Maybe Iām just out of sorts from the flu virus that Iām shaking the last remnants of off. I give the bulbs a day or two more to grow on me.
EDIT: Pulled off the bulb. Tint is much better, but light dispersion is now just LED mule. Kind of like the heat sink. Seems to have some heft. Its anodized to a pretty cool color (better than the product pics). The color reminds me of pewter. Seems like it could be turned into a neat flashlight. The LED self is pressed in to the finned body. Trying to get it off without scratching the finish. The LED has thermal glue (unlike the product picture below).

Appears that way to me, but donāt go by my word alone. Iām not a good judge of CRI and tint. I think they may be worth the price for parts. Still trying to get one apart while watching TV.
Bought one last week off Amazon for $2.59 delivered. Box marked 95 CRI Warm White. It has a neutral tint. Wife loves it as do I. We have a 30ā X18ā living room with vaulted ceiling and the neutral tint is very pleasing to the eye. Itās mounted vertically in a torchier style 6ā floor lamp which throws the light straight up. Cool as heck.
Then couple days later another one appears in the mail. WTH? Turns out they sent me one for FREE or made a mistake. Anyways, opened it up and box marked Pure White & 85CRI. Tint appears same to me. Anyways the free one must have been one of the earlier models I read about because immediately when screwing it in the threaded base kept turning in the receptacle. No matter, works perfect. May put some loctite on it later.
Turns out we have 2 torchier style 6ā floor lamps, one on each side of the room, and the lighting now is very even and neutral across the entire room since we run both lamps with the new bulbs. Just looks so much ānicerā than the very warm incandescents we were used to.
Thanks Thorfire for the Freeby. Guess they just wanna get them out of the warehouse.

LOL. I came home to another package of bulbs. So now I have 8 bulbs. Checked Amazon, but I only was billed for the 4 ordered. 6 of the boxes are marked 80CRI like the one I tore down above, 1 is not marked, and 1 is marked 90CRI. All are marked āPure Whiteā, except the 90CRI light. That light, has a pretty nice tint. Anyone know anything about the emitters in these (see Post 64 above)?
darn, I should have bought more than one!!! The light output without the diffuser is, iām guessing 800 ish lumens. Itās approximately the same brightness as a Convoy C8 shone on the ceiling. My intention with the one I ordered is to put a true, warm white, bridglux or Cree 1512 LED in place of the NW stock LED. Another option is to buy some warm white LG LEDs from fasttech and somehow squeeze 4 or 5 of those (seriesf) onto the bulb. lol. Iām just thinking now.
Amazon has Ganzo G735 assorted colors for $11.95 sold by ACE KNIFE. Free 2-day ship for Prime members.
This is a great deal on one of Ganzoās more recent models.
The next closest price I could find was gearbest for $17.01
Mine just arrived yesterday (G735-YB Yellow & Black), and best of all, it arrived in 2 days!
Iām used to waiting for the slow boat from China, but this is stocked somewhere in the USA.
