JETBeam Intellicharge i4.. here comes the clone...

It's a clone of a clone?

Maybe a clue what to search for? A brand name or something, to use for searching on taobao or something...

If it just saying jetbeam or something, that's useless ofcourse.

Also, why are some people so hostile, Harry pointed out that there is a cheaper option available. He got it from a local supplier, which proves it exists. People can hardly ask of him to search a seller which will sell it worldwide...

The earlier topic was telling people saving $$ which we were expecting he could share some info of the supplier. Now he changed the topic & this is understandable without hassle!

Nitpicking...

I don't agree to the way people reacted to the OP, this is supposed to be a friendly forum...

It looks quite close to the original, in fact having one, I can't tell the difference but for the labelling, please share whenever you can some specs of it such as dimensions, charging current etc if possible.

Being bought from a local supplier won't help much to the rest of us unless we can find it somewhere else at a good price.

+1

if my supplier was able to import this item, it means that it definitely available online too.. try to search more..

I have already got the original one, I will not get this one, maybe if I knew about it a month ago..

But for the rest, I don't feel a picture like this will help much without any text, I do not know what the reassoning is, maybe you do not want to alarm jetbeam about the company who is coping it?

That's the pic that i got from my seller before he imported the charger.. He even didnt want to let me know the brand.

Until i purchased and received it, then i now the brand.. the censored part on the box is a chinese character which i dont know the meaning. and the censored part on the chrger is the brand, which is CDQ

Ok Harry, understood then, I thought the picture was yours.

Did you check it with NI-Mh batteries, or it only charges Lithium ones?

i charged my eneloop ni-mh on this charger.. and it charged well...

What do you mean it charged well?

At what voltage did it terminate?

How many cells have you put in the charged at once? 2, 3 4 ?

Can it charge Nimh and Li-Ion in the same time and still finish correctly?

I charged my 2* Pana 2900 and 2*enelop ni-mah, all at the same time. Every slot has its own battery indicator. When the indicator is no longer blinking and has reached 3rd bar. it means it has been fully charged

What are the termination voltages?

I have no idea as i dont know how to measure....

Here you go : http://www.lygte-info.dk/info/Measurement%20UK.html

I agree this is a friendly forum but I don't need someone who gives me a lesson!!

Harry, I don't mean to hurt you. I say sorry if you feel so!

i have xtar 18700's too. how do we know that they dont fit in the clone? the clone might have longer slots?

I was more interested to see that they were selling the Sanyo UR16650ZT.

Thanks for bringing that to my attention - higher capacity '17650' (close enough) have been a long time coming, and being able to buy then individually, at a sensible price, and with the option of protection is great. Just hope they're the real deal.....

Clone is the right word - it really does appear to be a perfect copy. In fact, I wonder if these are actually made by the same people, and then marked with other companies brand names for those companies to then distribute. Basically, I wonder if this is the exact same charger. Even the sticker on the rear has the exact same styling as the Sysmax label on the i4 - just a different brand name.
