Bravo!
I would suggest you might have forgotten to include Fasttech’s new penchant for selling fake emitters in their products.
Two months ago I ordered a bike light from them, it was a complete POS, with LB emitters instead of the advertised Crees.
Initially, they would not even honor their return policy. All they offered was this:
*Sorry for the wait.
Our supplier confirms the new batches for the item 4036701 will be authentic Cree LED.
In your case, as this item is still usable, we’re considering to partial refund you $3 via credit card t show goodwill for customer satisfactory.
Please kindly advise so we can arrange accordingly, thanks.*

It was $32 dollar light.
After a month of argueing, they say they will replace it with one that has authentic Crees, They still have not done so.
A couple of members from this forum have managed to convince Fasttech to correct some of their listings to omit the mention of authentic Cree emitters in the product descriptions.
Something has changed at Fasttech. I don’t know if the rumors of new owners are true or not, but you have to consider everything there as a pre-order now.
If I ever manage to get a decent light out of them, or my money back, I will never purchase another light from them again. They have misrepresented counterfeit emitters as authentic. They refused to honor their return policy, and 2 months after I ordered it, have not yet replaced it as they had said they would.
To date, all I have to show for my $32 is a $7 “Gift Certificate”.
Ethics. A very wise man once told me in pilot training, that the time to define your morals and ethics, is some time priour to finding yourself in a survival raft with another guy, and one ration pack.
I no longer have any confidence in FT, and would not recommend them.
I have spent many times the price of that light, just in my time spent arguing with Customer Circus at Fasttech.
