Indeed, we are especialy interested in SnikPad - FT definately miss that

I had to order those from ebay, it was the only place that is shipping them to my location…
If FT could start selling Sinkpads that would be excelent.

FastTech, I ordered an Olight pistol light March, 4th. It listed in stock and still does today. Twice I’ve written to see when it’ll ship twice the reply was it’ll be back in stock soon. However it’s description still list in stock. Is this common practice?

Do a support ticket with them asking your question in simple terms. They have never failed to get back to me within 36 hours. They do advertise 24 hours.

Here is a perfect example of issues caused by FastTech’s errant stock reporting:

On March 01, I ordered four pieces of SKU.4348605:

As of today, this item shows as “In Stock” but my order has not yet shipped. But I’ve received the following support ticket update regarding this item:

“_We are sorry to write here that during packaging, we discovered that the item SKU 4348605 (UltraFire 18W 1*COB 1890LM 3000K LED Emitter)—(2 pcs) we were about to ship out is actually not ready for ship because we had mistaken the stock in the system.

Please note that the status of your order is displayed as packaging in the system, but actually it is not ready due to the above mentioned item. Your order will be shipped once this item is restocked. And a shipment notification will be sent to you at the same time._”

I would be much happier with FastTech as a vendor if you were more honest with your stock/inventory reporting!

Sorry to hear that. The reason why the inaccuracy information shown in our site is mainly caused by the delay of our supplier. I have urged the merchandiser to push our supplier and let them provide the goods as soon as possible. In addition, I understand that the updating time of our stock status is really slow which may mislead customers. I have reported to our IT department and warehouse plenty of the time before but the improvement is still not obvious. I am sorry about that and will pay more attention on it and make sure we declare the correct status as soon as possible once we received information from supplier.

This sounds disorganized.

You’re updating the stock too fast — showing a product for sale that you expect to have, before the supplier actually delivers it.
and
You’re updating the stock too slow — showing a product for sale after you sold out and don’t have any more.

Maybe a “please check the stock and tell me if it’s available” button on each page would be helpful?

Is there someone the support people could telephone at the drop shipper or warehouse, and ask if they actually have the thing?

How about promoting truthfullness. I just recieved the replacement light for the one that Fasttech sold me, with fake Crees.

Suprise suprise, the replacement, that I was ASSURED would have authentic Cree emiters, has more fake Crees.

I might have been born at night Fasttech, but not last night.

Fasttech has squandered every last bit of any benefit of doubt that I had ascribed to them. The plausible deniability of Fasttech being “mislead” by its suppliers is all long gone. Used up.

I am not in the consumer electronic business. The very first I had heard of fake LEDs, was when I recieved one.

In a few seconds, it was clear to me that Fastteh had sent me another POS light with fake LEDs. I uploaded a pic here, just to make sure I was not wrong. Fasttech sent me fakes. Again.

If I can identify a fake, WTF can’t you Fasttech? Its your job to ensure that your suppliers are not ripping off your customers.

Can’t you be bothered to check that what you are selling is what is described? Or do you think we are too stupid to know the difference?

Perhaps your business model is based on letting your customers vet your suppliers for you.

Who knows. Perhaps whatever the situation actually is is irrelevant. The bottom line, is that Fasttech is either incapable of exercising a minimum level of due dilligence in ensuring that they are not cheating their customers. Incapable, or unwilling. Either way, the outcome is the same.

Shame on you Fasttech.

How about promoting some honesty?

Piss poor stock management policy or something. My 02/23 order got home on 04/12 give or take. It included batteries, of course. :person_facepalming:

My latest one, placed on 04/01, was shipped on 04/15. Again, batteries all between. At least I could change one of the order items a couple of times, lets hope I don’t receive one of those Lattice Crap emitters on that new SKU UltraFire SK98. :person_facepalming:

Af if this were not enough, I’ve recently posted a pile of questions about certain items on the product pages and… 0% answers. Customer service rating: UltraSux. :person_facepalming:
