Hello!
Thanks for your support and interest
Yes, we’ve got many questions and offers about separating the two halves and making them automotive, so that’s really in our plans!
Hello!
Thanks for your answers!
The flashlight has in fact two modes: power (200 meters) and superpower (1000 meters).
As for the LED version - it is in our plans for future. However, at the present we are working only on the HID version, trying to make it better and better
Can I ask you for a more precise question, please?
If you wonder whether you can feel the heat touching the flashlight’s body, the answer is no - the body stays cold so it’s absolutely safe.
Welcome to BLF Repulsor! And Kudos for keeping your “cool” with such a “warm” welcome from some of these guys. We do have some guys here interested in HID, but we don’t see mention of it often on these pages.
You said it would be perfect for search/rescue and force authorities. Other than those, who else (if any) do you see as your potential customers? What are your most targeted use cases? Where would this light be most advantageous against other forms of light?
Hi!
Thanks for your kind support, we really appreciate it!
As for potential customers, our flashlight is destined for people who love traveling, hiking, rock-climbing, biking, skiing or any other kind of activities
Ehm OK so you say a xenon light consuming roughly 50w is manageable without cooling fins on the outside and still has the housing not get warm?
You tested this when it was not freezing?
I don’t see how keeping the outside of the case relatively cool is impossible.
But…
I don’t think it would be completely cool neither, that’s got to be some serious insulation. Even if the HID bulb is fully insulated, there would be a lot of heat coming from the ballasts as well.
BTW I feel that some of us here are getting a bit too rude.
