Group Buy Cree XP-G3 <---Yes three! GB closed, some emitters still available.

The sooner you’ll buy them the sooner they will be reviewed…

I support that…

Fact is that Cree can’t be easily trusted any more. Read my thread and you’ll see what I am talking about.

How come cutter gets those emitters before everyone else? When can we expect Mountain El. and International O. to have them?

MrBig you have been added to the list. Thanks

I am only guessing, but I would say its because CE is a registered Cree distributor.
http://www.cree.com/LED-Components-and-Modules/Where-to-Buy

Searching the list there I don’t fine Mountain or IOS on there. It may be possible that hank purchases directly from cree (I don’t know) but Cutter being an authorized dealer probly earns them special privilege.

I just placed an order for
1 x s5 2c for a dedomed thrower build
3 x r3 5bin for a triple convoy

Thanks for putting this groupbuy together.

iam not technical type…so i have to ask-are this new leds good for tripple flashlites?used in out triple xpl hi convoys?
or there are not triple yet…and are they not good for the carclo optic?

Can you put me down for a couple of the 4 bin and a couple of the 5 bin? Add a 10mm and a 16mm sinkpad as well, please.

Thanks Matt

I guess that depends on what you mean by good  Will they work. Yes. Will you have to drill out the optics or de-dome the emitter to make them work. Probly. These will be on the SC5 platform so they sit higher than XPG. Based on use of XPL emitters I would say it is likeley you will have to either modify the optic or slice of the dome etc to get the to sit right, but I have not had any in hand yet to try so that is just an educated guess.

Everything is all setup. You can order right now. Links for purchase are in the OP. The list in post 2 is people who have ordered. Basically just a public tally of who has product coming. If your are short on cash or what ever at the moment I will be keeping the thread open for another week or so.

Also if you have paid and you see your name spelled like this ??? It means I have your order but did not see a coinciding post in the thread.

Ordered

Ordered 6 of the 5 bin tint, R3, 90 CRI.

Thanks.

Is the dome on this LED the same diameter at the base as the XP-G2? This is somewhat critical for one build…

Thanks Matt

Ordered 3, and a bunch of SinkPAD’s. Thanx!!

You and me both!

Vesture, any word from Mark if he is going to update his website with the exact bins he has currently available?

As it stands now they’re simply listed by the kit range, E5.

I’ve got an email in to Mark, I know he’s busy but hopefully he has time to answer.

Regardless, the 3A S5 are gonna be awesome!

I’ve not had a chance to put my flashaholic mits on these yet, so the only info I have is what’s in the data sheet that people were quoting in the other thread.

I’ve not heard anything.

Order placed. 2-3bin, 2-4bin and a couple of sinkpads.

Thanks VOB

Ordered
5- 5’s…

Mark

Right now we have just the S5 in 3A and 2C and waiting to see when 90 CRi ships.
Since your going to do a GB to save on shipping costs, maybe these are of interest. Stock just arrived
XHP35 HI Int

3C in E2, 2 bins above published

3D in D2

Mark

I’m down for some of the 3D D2’s and the 3C E2’s as well. VOB would have to sign off on doing any add ons though, and speaking from experience, group buys are enough hassle all to themselves, and I’m not sure if he’d want the extra hassle.

Soooooo, I looked on the site to do a direct order, and couldn’t find the above referenced LED’s. Are they listed on the site yet?

I don’t want to clutter VOB’s thread, so I’ll send you an email.
