Awesome. Is that the same as the armourmax 590 lumens 2D?

Looking online, the LM Wingman is available for free shipping to store for $38+. It says not carried in stores. What if you have it shipped to your local HD, tell them you have other shopping and will check out yourself with your other purchases, will you get the cheaper $7.53 or $.01 price? If you could just get it away from the CS employee and get it to a self checkout, you might be able to get it cheap. Thoughts?

Look at this!! Big Smile

(Pardon the ugly messed-up package in front)

These are usually $12 but now they’re at their lowest price of $3.03. Apparently they’re being discontinued? A few months/years ago we used this to replace our leaking wax ring and it worked well. We got two but then realized we needed more so I got three more Big Smile

I’ve only used the tried and true wax seals. Gonna swing by an HD on the way home to see if they are on clearance here too. Hoping to put in new floors in both of my bathrooms. So they will get used. Thanks for the alert poiihy. Smile

The jury is still put on their longevity, but they do work excellently- much better than was seals, especially when the flange or flooring isn’t as solid as it should be. Some plumbers I know use nothing else now, and I’ve put in at least a dozen.

The 100W Equivalent Philips LED bulb went to the 3 price, this bulb is 1500 Lumen of daylight color.

Here is something to watch for. It could go to the 3 price in a week or so. Maybe $9.53?

This store was also sold out of the Wingman, but their “3” price was $10.03. That is the 3rd different “3” price I have seen, all based on about 75% off of their list price. I have seen, 8.83, 7.53 and now 10.03

I thought for sure that I finally found one of the penny ArmourMax headlights that lichan reported finding. This store had about 8 of them in the clearance section a couple of days ago, but when I checked, they were all gone! I did find one out in the open, upfront by the registers. Overlooked!

Another shot, showing the registers.

I was so sure it would ring for a penny that I didn’t even bother to price check it.

Rang up for $3.83. I had to go outside and march right back up to returns to get my refund.
At that price of $3.83, I could by 383 of them!

still full price here, not even 1 cent off yet Sad
Our price is $15.87
I have one of these bulbs in 2700k, its a good bulb, clean them out when you make your move

We have this one clearance as well, i never thought to photograph the price but its something like $30-40 on clearance

Bort, they had 17 and I got them all. A friend wants 8, he likes the bright white light daylight bulbs emit.

Nobody noticed, but the replacement Xenon bulbs for the 2D Mags were on clearance too. They were marked down from 3.97 to $1.03. Who cares, right? Now they are a penny and some stores will still have some because they weren’t pulled. They look too much like some other styles that are not on clearance. Today I rounded up some. Not for myself, but for a member here that has a use for them.

Here is a light I got today for a penny also. Original price was $62.97 but was tagged at the “3” price of $12.03. I knew from the date it would go for a penny, and it did. It even comes with the Retro style bulb Smile

Duct tape is always useful and this is quality stuff, SCOTCH brand. I wasn’t piggy on this one, I only grabbed 3 blue and 3 yellow.

One of these in the car is always good to have. This is a 100W power inverter and also has a 2A USB port. $8.83 is a steal for what it is and they just went to the 3 price, so there should (could) still be some around,

More of them at another store, I grabbed the specialty solder and flux in the lower right corner for $1.33. Got some plumbers epoxy for $1.02 too.

The self checkout at my store has the price lookup feature. It doesn’t work right St thr store by my work.

2-10-16 on that light fixture for a penny eh? My store still has items with dates that old that are still at the 3 price and ring up as such.

Oh. Derr…..didn’t even notice. Those are nice. We don’t have any either. Would save a lot of hassle taking stuff up to the self checkout and then having to walk it all the way back when it rings up the wrong price.

Man, you guys don’t miss anything!

Came here to post about the LED Worklights and you guys are already discussing them.

The larger of the 2 is also on sale, was $79.97 now $48.06. It’s the one with the tall stand, rated 1720 lumens at ~30W. Would make a great CXA host, it’s got a lot of mass. At 30W you could double the output and get better quality light to boot. I’ve been watching to see if they’re going to drop anymore, but I don’t have a grasp on the .06, .03 pricing thing.

On another note, we have one Home Depot within reasonable driving distance, and they’re completely wiped out as far as handheld lights and headlamps go, and I missed them all Sad

I found a whole tray of them today, but they were in the overhead.

That Blue Tape freaked me out. When the HD guy went up to get them for me he scanned the price. That’s when he said He couldn’t sell them to me, they were “pennied out”

I asked him if the Blue Tape meant they were not to be sold and he said, no, only so that they wouldn’t fall down. So I asked him to scan the lights to the left that were also wrapped in Blue Tape and they scanned at $34.97

I made up for that by getting lots of other stuff for a penny Smile

The stores here use ‘rolling stairs’ to get their employees to the high shelves. If one is hndy and no employees are in sight I grab it and use it similarly. Or I ask a passing employee to grab from the top shelf for me because the bottom shelf was empty. They give the bottom a quick look for it and not seeing it and go right up for me. “How many did you want?” Big Smile And no climbing antics on my part either (though that’s been known to happen too).

What ya need to do is find one of theor store hand scanners for sale for a penny! Then you can check merchandise all day long yourself. Get the price, location, etc. Lol

We can wish, right?

i wondered that too, i thought maybe the guy put it down and went off to do something else, but they don’t often leave scanners sitting out on purpose

You can’t tell from the picture, but as I wrestled him to the ground and had him pinned on the floor, I managed to get off this shot.
When I came to my senses, I quickly exited the store.
I’m OK now, really.

But enough of the penny stuff.
This mediore 4 – cell charger with 2 – AA NiMH cells first caught my eye when it was reduced from $9.97 to $6.10

I knew that eventually it would go to the “6” price and then the “3”. With a supposed 3 price of $2.53 it would be a good catch for gifting. Some electronics take 4 – AA NiMH cells and a 2 cell charger just doesn’t cut it. Besides this charger can also charge 4 – AAA cells also. AND this charger with 2 other AAA cells is THE perfect companion for the Mag mini combo which I had already been watching and waiting. Now that I had gotten the Mags, I was waiting for this charger. Once the charger went to the “6” price, I noticed something strange. Different stores had different “6” prices

When they finally hit the “3” price, any store that still had them rang up for $2.53. All stores that had correctly tagged them at 2.53 were sold out. Only stores that had not tagged them at the correct price of $2.53 had stock. So far I have found a total of 6.

Went by my ‘usual’ HD today (#1104) and cruised the whole store, only to find nothing. Hardly anything marked down and not a single “6” or “3” price. So that’s it, I’ll not be going back to that one. 2 more HD’s nearby just about as close so they’re me from now on. I’ve seen “6” deals at one of those so I’ll try them first.

I’m determined to join the “penny club”!

Phil
