Reflector revised: ReyLight Pineapple Brass 14500/AA Flashlight, Nichia 219C 4000K

With XPL and 14500, I think yes.

For Nichia 219B and NimH the following modes look optimal to me:

80 16 3 0.5 lumen

reasonable amount of light with reasonable runtimes, no wow factor.

While I use 14500 myself, proper support for it (like sc52d) would increase the price very significantly.

14500 support would be nice, no visible PWM would also be nice. I for one, on a small light thing that the lowest output mode should be first or there should be memory. Tiny lights are great on the night stand. AA would be ok, if 14500 support would stink or the other way around would be fine as well. I would love to see it with a 219b, that way I don’t have to disassemble and change it right away. That tint is so easy on formerly sleeping eyes!

Like I suggested before. 0.2-3-25-100. 4000K Nichia 219B?

I’m good with 5, 25, 50-100 and then BAM 400+. XPL?, XPG?, …most lumen

sounds great to me

OP updated. driver spec and clip.

Would this be an extension tube to make it a 2xAA light? It’s already AA sized, right?

Really starting to look good! A single trit in the tailcap in the button and it sounds complete!

Yeah I’m liking where this is going. Did we ever get a firm price on this? If so, maybe it should be in the original comment. I think it might scare people when the first mention of price is the $500 in the second comment, which is no longer relevant.

I second the trit in the tailcap.

We’re making AA light, if people are requesting about an extension, we’ll make it too. it depends.

Yes, there is a slot already.

Sounds great. Definate yes on extension tube.

New clip updated in OP.

I’m not crazy about the clip. Maybe it’s just the strip hole looks out of place? Could it be made so that it’s deep carry and reversible?

Opposite of RH64 I like the clip AND the design. My opinion only

I really like clips that go under the tailcap. Especially if they can be reversed.

Is there a price range for this light yet?

Paid some money to the factory, I think we might have a prototype within this month.
