ENEDED

Bezel has notches for a spanner, and in the diagram of the body and the pics of the bare body show threads at the head end…

Freeme, any chance an 18350 would fit since it appears a bit wider/longer than the Olight S1?

Looks nice.
Could you check it’s mod-ablity? Check for threadlocker on bezel, accessible driver.

It would be disappointing for easy modding to have it a press in bezel. Not unworkable, as you said earlier, just harder. I nodded my S1 Ti following member X3’s guidance and a video from another member. I used the PVC pipe cutters, then found the rotary tubing cutters (looks like a C-clamp with rollers on one end, blade wheel on the other) works very well to when changing emitters again…

I do like the size of the S1, but if this thing is a little bigger, as it appears, then this will become a triple for me…

Put me down for one more 5C, come to think of it… Always need a backup…

M3 does not accept 18350. It is modeled closely as Olight S10. Bezel is not glued, and can be easily remove with a pair pliers. Reflector is screwed into the aluminium pill like Olight. Same as Olight, triple conversion will not be as direct as we hope for.

EE X5?

Too bad , I´m out then. I don´t want to add yet another battery type to my collection… seems like nice light though…

Driver easily removable?

I will leave the driver intact till I finish all my beam shots and measurements. From the back of the view, I suspect it adopts the same driver layout as Olight below. OTR M3 has stated integrated pill design in their description.

Looking forward to your impression of the tint as all as the beam shots!

Hopefully it is clearer now.

i just measured my olight s15r and blf A6, both had moonlight modes of 3 mA and next level at 25 mA, so this one has a brighter ultra low then.

nice flowchart for the ui!
it always starts in ultralow when long-pressing, and you get access to turbo and strobe by double/triple clicking.

Beamshot photo please!
And compare it to a few of the lamp brightness to what you already know everyone. Thanks!

This is ultra low is 10mA. It is slightly brighter than moonlight but it still pretty useful in my opinion.

There is on time memory (<3s) for the four brightness level. It will only start from ultra low by default when memory is cleared. (e.g disconnect power from circuit - you remove and re-insert battery into flashlight).

I am out if it doesn’t always start in low or ultra low.

Please add 2 more lights to my previous order for 1, subject to your test/review.

Will there be an option & discount for the “gift” set which includes the battery and charger?

Put me down for 1 more 5C…

Thanks

Still trying to figure out why this has not taken off…

A 5C option!

Nice solid body with a screw in bezel…

Decent UI from the looks of it…

No visible PWM it appears.

Magnetic Tail Cap…

Nice looking anodization…

Come on people! I ordered one from the special with the battery and everything, when it comes in, I will post my impressions here…

I am not sure either… basically no PWM, good tint, good modes, magnet, decent clip. I am not sure why nobody is jumping in on this one. This is basically the cost of 3 emitters. Looks like the LED is easy to change, the UI looks pretty good. I think it will make a nice EDC. I wonder if it could be reamed out to take an 18350?

It could be that nobody recognizes the brand “On The Road”. I discovered this group buy when some asked on Reddit if this flashlight was an Olight clone, and then I did some google searching for it.

I pm’d freeme for a pair of them
