Lol. Have not found anything better than the Hugsby XP-12…The sk68 clones are garbage nowadays……Too bad it is only 1 mode. I am nearly going to pull the trigger on a couple…
Fail. It’s the XP-11@$5.xx…… I thought it was the XP-12….Looking for good deals for the XP-12 _
Lite Teck is a reliable vendor of Hugsby Lights. I have ordered from them several times.
as posted on this thread:
XP-12 for ~$6:

I ordered one of each, XP-11 and XP-12, to go w/ my dozen or so of the XP-1.
I just got (bought) one of these from Dxsoul:
It’s actually not a bad light, but it doesn’t look like it has an XM-L2 emitter (probably an XP-E per the part #).
3 modes: H-L-Strobe and next mode memory
Seems to work with AA and 14500 (I only tried AA so far though).
Got my first SK68 eBay today! Cool little light! Now I’m waiting for some Eneloop Pros and Trustfire 14500 flames!
Edit: Has anybody seen a single mode #6? I like the looks but not the multi mode unless I can select one mode and have it stay there. Like high all the time?
I wonder if this is the same.

Hi. Do you know if there is a way to mod the #6’s to single high mode? Or one for sale that’s just high?
Thanks!
These XTAR’s are a smokin’ deal. And 150 lumen.
And only in pink now.

It may be time to practice anodizing….
Get this driver from fasttech. Ignore what it says about the input voltage being 3-4.2V. This is a boost driver that takes AA or 2AA and is single mode.
love them, but 21 dollar shipping to Holland :-(
…and the low frequency PWM on them is just disgusting …

Xref for a couple other versions of the generic #3 zoomie:
Hi all, GEARBEST gave me the opportuntiy to test their UKing ZQ – X900 cheap zoomie flashlight against the CREE XPE Q5 600 Lumens 7W Zoomable LED Flashlight that I already own. So they sent me one of each color to make a little review. I must add that this is my first review here at BLF so this might not live up to the expectations that modders and flashlight professionals might have - I´m just someone who loves and uses flashlights. I´ve already seen different reviews of the same light class,…
Xref for #3 Zoomie Mods: excellent ideas here:
[image] Driver: Potted with a 50:50 mix of ‘Coca’ brand thermal glue and graphite. Doesn’t really harden, this glue is a white substance very similar in looks to other silicon-based glues and pastes. Dilution doesn’t seem to be the problem. This driver probably doesn’t need potting, but I needed to test the glue, and graphite as a substitute for silicon carbide. I intended to switch the stock driver with one of higher output but didn’t find anything for this particular diameter (see other thre…
