Here’s something interesting.
Yesterday at Home Depot I saw this box of LED bulbs.
But these LED bulbs looked exactly like incandescent bulbs.
I thought “wow they have led bulbs that look exactly like incandescent bulbs now” (i know there are filament ones but they aren’t this exact)
I took them out of the box to have a closer look.
Turns out, they were incandescent bulbs… burnt-out ones.
So apparently someone brought their burnt out bulbs and swapped them.
The packages behind had the actual product inside.
Remember the store that had the 15 Armour Max 3D’s in the overhead and the guy wouldn’t sell them to me?

WOW! I’d clean house at that price on the 1700 lumen work lights, well, I actually need about 5. And about that many of the smaller ones. Our store only had 3 of the 1700, 1 opened and 2 unopened, and none of the smaller ones. It was the large ones I missed.
Thanks for rescuing those lights, laying in bed last night I thought of all the poor, lonely LED work lights sitting in a dumpster behind Home Depot waiting to be crushed, and a chill went up my spine. Then it occurred to me what I’m going to have to spend to get some cheap knockoffs to Mod and a tear rolled down my cheek.
I am noticing most of the Defiant lights are disappearing from the shelves at Home Depots here in Canada in my area. The days of the good Defiant lights like the DST are gone. two of my local HDs dont have any Defiant lights at all now, only crappy Husky & energizer plastic lights.

The Xenon 2-Cell C&D bulbs are extremely easy to find. They are up by the registers and look too much like the 3-Cell C&D bulbs which are not on clearance and still $3.98 each. I believe they are missed because they are hard to tell apart. Not really, all you have to do is read the package.
Who would want them? I was passing over them until I got a PM from a member here that has a use for them. PM me if you have any and want to donate or sell them cheap to him.

yeah - one of the stores here actually had it in overhead shelf with the netted enclosure - tons! i might go over one of these days and risk asking an employee to get some for me…
After I dropped my wife was at the Casino to play the penny slots, I was allowed to take the car and visit the nearby HD’s for penny deals. At this Home Depot less than 2 miles away I saw these Wingman’s buried on the bottom of a stack of the newer, replacement Leatherman’s.
Anyone want to guess how much they rang up for?

sweet! i bought a few of the sharpening stone oil for a penny today - after seeing them in dchomak’s rescue pic. besides sharpening knives, what else can it be used for?
Perhaps this was just a Canadian thing but most coupons used to say cash value 1/20th of a cent, i always wondered if the company would refund you the money if you grabbed a few million undelivered coupons or unused coupons and tried to redeem them for cash
I would think that it is just a thin oil, like 3 in 1 oil. Maybe someone else would know.
