I didn’t break anything today, but the AF sensor of my Canon 1Dx broke 2 weeks ago, it will cost me almost 800 Euro to get it repaired…

Someone please tell me where and how this driver board with build in LEDs is going to be useful?
Anyone make a transparent flashlight?
As it is a bike light you would be looking at its rear end 
all you would need is a hole next to the switch with a bit of clear/opaque plastic in it.

Update: GearBest gave me my money back. I guess that video worked.
Well it survived for a half a year, maybe a bit more but it happened, forgot the flashlight on turbo with reflector side down for about a minute, stepdown was kicked in so for sure it was more than 45 seconds. Its okay tho, everything else survived.
FYI 30Q was inside, fresh off the charger, so this was running at 9A at the time of accident

Friday our internet modem went crazy

And vital stuff powered by extension cords with surge protection as well (the phone line also loops through it)
So I figured must be somewhere at ISP.
Called and tomorrow somebody comes to check it out
But some bamboo has shoot up in a hedge that in itself has grown really high as well.
So armed with a bunch of different saws I started trimming things down
Putting the branches at the start of the driveway (close to where I was cutting)
In the evening a pile was formed
2 meters at the highest 5 meter at the longest.
I was tired so planned on putting it on the campfire place Saturday
Woke up Saturday with a small red disc on the skin and some irritation. Inside leg 5 cm above the knee.
It became bigger, hard, hot and painful.
In the evening painful to walk and stretch.
When bending and using force with the leg it was painful pretty short after waking up.
Must be a insect of plant.
Drank a bunch of herb tea my wife made, against inflammation and to force lots of peeing.
Used some oils to help it
So had a couple of toilet visits this night to empty the bladder.
Every time my leg was more painful
But when waking up and getting up it was a little less painful
And the hard warm red is not getting bigger today.
So my leg is kind of broken and that pile of branches (some size of small trees) is still there
It needs to be removed because no car can enter or leave now.
Will just repeat the teas and oils from yesterday and do it tomorrow.
(And dang even calendula oil does not stop the itching argh)
I used some JB weld to make a non solid pill a little more solid. I put a brand new MT-G2 on 20mm Noctigon over it with some oil as releasing agent under, but the releasing agent didn’t do anything because the JB-weld crept through the wire holes of the MCPCB and basically welded it in. Some of it stuck to the dome of the LED so I gave slicing the dome off a try, but I only ended up ripping the whole dome off… The pill was to messy to keep so it went in the bin together with the MT-G2

My soldering station shorted out when I was changing the tip, but I did save the receipt so I returned it to the local shop were I brought it and got a new one for free :+1:
Broke my trusty Ti3 because I put a 10440 in it and left it on moonlight all night long. I thought I had turned it off but instead it was on moonlight. Now none of the other modes work either. Thinking about replacing it with a K18.
I should take you under private arrest for such a crime. Nobody breaks my favorite light and gets away with it! :rage:

First try shaving an old XM-L (to keep its 1A tint)
I have used two 0.9mm drills as guide, the wires seemed ok, but i have cut some phosphor on one corner, i suppose pressure have bended the razor blade.
Result: no working LED
I think i will stay with gas dedoming method.
I just rested my solder on a piece of plastic on a headlamp i was working on. Great!
