Interesting but I need a few reviews (as unbiased as possible) preferably with info how it is after real use before considering buying it.

Till now the percentage of lights made by Manker that were followed up by a thread about issues or running thread being filled up with issues is a tad too high for my liking

(Personally I have 6 lights made by Manker and two have serious problems (safety for 1 and anodization chipping of even by touching it with jeans fabric for the other), two have minor issues with mode switching and only 2 work normal and kept working without any problem. Funny enough the two good ones are the Kronos X5 and its Astrolux counterpart and those little gigglemakers are just the kind of lights one would expect problems with with the sheer amount of power in their output and added complexity because of the lighted tails.)

It is not like Manker is cheap to buy (though some of their lights are surely unique and without a stock light that they can be compared to so it is not possible to say they are expensive Wink ) the $130 or maybe more for this 12 ledded light requires it to be a really really good light that can actually be used IMHO. How they do the modes it of less relevance to me as long as it has at least 3 modes with low med high, if a light is used one learns the modes switching in no time. It just needs to be good enough for me wanting to learn it Wink

This being Manker’s new model, don’t get your hopes high.

To @The Miller,
Manker’s new U21 seems to be solidly built and received good recommendations by reviewers, so hope Manker got their act rights in improving on their QC.

I’ve few Manker’s built lights from the BLF A6 to the Cometa, so I know how atrocious their built quality can be.

Well, Manker obviously don’t want our money. With all the quality issues we’ve had with them, we shouldn’t be giving our money to them anyway. Angry

“Shoot the messenger” and the problem will go away!?
That’s a bad business practice (by Manker)…

If it means lower prices and better quality for everybody I might tolerate it.
But I have my doubts…

Well it doesn’t seem to work like that David, just push out new stuff and 1 or 2 raging reviews is all it takes to get sales going (was that E14 / E41 not sold before any review was posted from actual users and even with the clear issues still kept on selling?)

So if one respected member writes that a certain price is very good lots of BLFers are willing to pay it. From their perspective it’s spending $30 (review sample without markup) and sell 100 for $64 at least 3400 initial profit.
opposite of selling 150 for 50 making 3000 and have 50% more work, aftersales , warranty etc to take into consideration.
What would you do?
Yeah is lots of us started to wait and nor order if problems arise it would be a different story bit their new lineup just looks so sweet Wink

I like my Manker T01, but I don’t think the quality is up to the level of Zebralight. Give Manker time, and it may get there. But at this point, I don’t think the similar price to Zebralight is justified. (Comparing similar lights.) I feel Manker is rushing to declare itself a premium brand (and a high price), without having gone through the time and quality refinements to get there.

Zebralight electronics is hundred times more difficult in development and production. They can improve machining or anodizing, but if company don`t have best engineers they will never beat Zebralight.

If you ask me Manker has had team Kronos and Dale to do some excellent R&D for them. BLF to do field testing and lots of us getting a fix for copper addiction Big Smile
So the CU/SS X5/X6 CU/ALU E14/E41 CU A01 pushed the brand into a whole range of premium feeling lights that got bought by the dozens, no hundreds no matter what was wrong in QC.
I applaud Manker for trying to aggressively counter the Cometa fiasco with a loud breach with Banggood and presenting itself as premium. It shows balls where others might take some responsibility and would have caught up in negativity, Manker just tries to step over it.
I applaud the ballsiness of the move and am very curious if a Zebra design and pricing in base lineup will work out. Yet I will not buy Manker if it is not reviewed by people that have used it for some time and seem objective (so Tom E and Budda are making that U21 look mighty fine Big Smile )

This blatant Meteor contester has my utmost attention since ibam such a sucker for this kind of lights. And after the Meteor for SB I really like one high end floody monster (or could the Q8 be that Wink ) though I am still leaning into moddiing a srk into 12/16 LEDs with active cooling this winter.

I so hope Manker sends some samples to the good reviewers because I so like the loookof this one with its different form.

I have the Manker U21 and think this is a great flashlight that fills my need; no other light at this time is as compact and can match the U21.

I choose my flashlights on my needs and not always what a manufacturer wants to sell next. I have no interest in this next Manker product.

Yeah I try to do that too bit parallel celled thick lights are just my weakness Wink
The U21 seems sweet but would not be used here so I did not get it.
I certainty do not need a phat thrower but it looks just so nice!

Not much specs or info on it on the Manker webpage. I like the fact it uses the Nichia 219B LEDs (though I prefer the warmer 4000K bin). It’s bright, of course. But not much other info. Not really the design for me anyway, but I like that they’re trying new things.

I already have the M43, I just had to order the MK34 too… Silly

What I do wonder though is how Manker can squeeze out 6000 lumens, when the M43 produces around 4500 lumens with the same LEDs.

Double click switch for turbo.
Tap switch to turn on/off.
Hold switch when on to change modes.

Looks to me like three E14’s cobbled together. So I guess we can expect triple the quality control issues. Imagine how many varieties of LED’s they can put in a single sample with 12 possibilities!

That’s what I am thinking/worried about. Also the likelihood that they are using the same “green tint” 5000k 219Bs as used in the E14…
