XP-G2 S3

Best price in town as always!

Based on my prediction, limited qty of XP-G2 S3 will be available as early as end of the month, follow by cri couple of weeks later.

Interested in the CRI version

I am in for one LA10 CRI. If the price is right I’ll take two.

RRP XP-G2 is $24.99. GPrice definitely be lower.

please 3 more, 2 cri and 1 normal

For me one xp-g2

Added a few new pictures in Post #01.

Two things:

First, I noticed in the Nitecore Store write up that there is supposed to be a series of lanterns coming. Anyone heard anything about that?

Second, I am extremely heartened by the preponderance of people wanting the high CRI version. Maybe Nitecore and some of the others will notice this and start adding more high CRI lights to their lines. One can only hope.

I had the same thought when I saw the numbers for the Nitecore TIP feeler requests. Right now, there are 70 requests for the TIP, and 107 for the TIP CRI. That’s 40% TIP, 60% TIP CRI. So, more CRI lights, please!

I have not heard anything about their new lantern series.

Eventually, they will.

One XP-G2 S3 for me

Thanks!

Can it run with 14500? If so…how many lumens??

Please PM details.

I may be interested in the xpg s3 depending on the price

Thanks

The LA10 User Manual does not mention 14500 cells at all, just alkaline, NiMH, or Lithium primary AA cells. I would venture to guess that using a 14500 cell would overheat the LED too much, especially if the diffuser is retracted. There doesn’t appear to be very much metal at all in the light, so heat dissipation would be a big issue. If the emitter moves up and down the shaft of the light along with the diffuser, then there would be no good thermal path at all.
