Switch JetBeam Jet-1 MK reflector for optic

I want to install a focused optic in the JetBeam Jet-1 MK. I think it should float behind the window and rest on the centering widget.

Would this work and where do I find the right optic?

I haven’t had luck with getting the head apart, but I was wanting a floody optic (and switch to NW emitter). I have an optic from my H15 headlamp that may fit, but I am still looking to get the head apart cleanly….

I modded mine with XP-L HI and 15mm FET driver and the beam is very focused, I don’t think there is an optic this size that can throw better. However, the middle of the spot shows a slight hint of yellow, most visible when in turbo.

I can post some pictures if you like, the disassembly is fairly simple, unscrew the bezel with brute force and pop the driver out from the front. It takes a 10mm copper sinkpad just fine and a 15mm driver with some room to spare, 16mm would be ideal.

I don’t care how far it throws, I just want the optic and a tightly focused beam instead of a reflector.
