Got mine yesterday. I got like 500 lumen with my ceiling bounce with 14500. Pretty short runtime. Like 20 min and gets super hot.
Biggest disappointment is that it doesn’t pocket well. Pocket clip doesn’t hold in jeans tightly and the anno is very slick. Its been sliding around in my pocket all morning.
I purchased three Jet mu, and two Jet-1-MK. One mu has a more neutral tint as well as one of the Jet-1-mk’s. I like all of them. Great price and very useful small lights. If I need a blinding wall of light I use my XinTD-SC 82-V5. If I need a very long run time my Thorfire VG10 fits the bill. Each flashlight is tailored to fit a niche.
Just received mine and I was shocked at the size of the xp-g2 (my first of this led). I was expecting an xp-g die size and quite the throw monster but have to say the beam resembles an xml2 in a larger reflectored light. Of course, it was my bad having the wrong expectations on this light, which is quite a steal for the money, truth be told.
I ordered one of these lights and now need recommendations for protected 14500 cells that will work with this flashlight. I read that some cells might fit too tight.
I’ve carried one for almost two month now and i’m very pleased with it so far.
I’m not a big fan of twisties but this one is smooth enough it can be operated one handed - although sometimes it skips modes if you are not twisting off far enough and get some sort of rebounce. I’m a bit sensitive to PWM but didn’t get annoyed with it yet. Must be relatively fast PWM?
It’s small and quite bright for the size with a 14500. I like the beam shape and decent throw too.
GB has it on sale these days… Just ordered a second one. :person_facepalming:
I opened it up for centering the LED and ordered a replacement XPL Hi
My advise for centering the reflector is to glue the reflector with the spacer, its almost impossible to get it centered without that, bcs it has not a typical centering ring
I ordered 3 of em only one got decent centered led
It is glued, but with some heat you can get it opened relatevily easy
Its like some soft acrylic glue
My Nitecore P12 is absolutely resistant to be opened up with more heat and way more force no chance
Couldn’t tell when swinging the light, but finally could see it by pointing the light directly into the camera. Certainly don’t notice it with the naked eye. I tried it in the shower, and didn’t see anything with the naked eye. But taking a video of droplets of water, you’re always going to see a frame/strobe effect. Just like a video of an airplane propeller. I don’t see PWM as a real problem with this light using a 14500.
