International Inquiry Center?

I recieved a letter from the USPS.

******

Dear Customer:

An inquiry has been received from the Foreign Postal Administration of HONG KONG, concerning the delivery of ordinary parcel with indemnity, article number CP********HK, which was addressed to you. This item was sent on **/**/**, by:

**insert Honk Kong address**

******

It came with a return envelope, postage paid to "International Inquiry Center, Denver, CO".

It had two options:

__ This item was recieved on or about ____________________

__ This item was not recieved.

Has anyone recieved one of these?

Should I be concerned?

I'd say its a phishing email. they misspelled "deilivery"

That was my spelling mistake. I'll go back and fix it. The letter was not email, it was delivered by way of the local mail in the USA.

It looks official enough. I am just wondering how to respond to it and what they are fishing for.

The tracking number is legit and I know the answer to their questions.

I got one of those once. Just check the one that applies.

You might have forgotten an order you made some time ago.

looks like a person is making sure it the package was delivered . i would respond to it if thats the case

No worries, you received this because someone filed a Postal Insurance Claim. (lost or not delivered item.)

Fill it out and return it to them. Be aware that postal insurance fraud is on the rise & regulators are prosecuting.

Ok, thanks. I will mail the response back next week.

Hmm. It is for a shipment that I definitely recieved back in November. It was for a fairly large order.

When I track the package using the supplied number, it does not show "Delivered" in the tracking summary.

I'll just mark it received and be done with it.

I got one once from a Dx order that took 5 months to get to me. The letter came about 3 months after I got the stuff.
