Knives

Are any of the Srm or Enlan knives available anywhere that takes less than 15-30 days shipping or are they only available direct from China?

I don't really need any more knives as I rarely use the ones I have but they do look interesting especially at those prices. I don't have the patience to wait those kind of times anymore however for lights or knives :)

I was just wondering if there were any places with higher shipping but similar prices maybe here in the U.S.?

Mostly directly from China

You can shave a few days of by ordering them from Ebay (in my experience)

places like Exduct are sloooow

That's good to know that Exduct is slow. They have a lot of knives laid out for you to chose from but if they are the slowest option that's good to know.

I've only bought once from Exduct, but they surprised me with fast delivery. If I remember well it took about two weeks, a couple of months ago.

I'm just now looking at ebay and I see there is at least one dealer that says his listings (of Smr) are from the U.S.

The other thing I notice is just that there are so many models of SMR in general that it is hard to know which ones to looking into. They almost have too many models.

There was a US guy that posts some vids on YouTube, try this site

I don't think exduct is so slow, for me compared to dealextreme, the time of exduct is two weeks and dealexteme 1 month or more.

Thanks. I just found that myself and ordered 3 knives! I ordered Bee Enlan L05-1 (Rosewood), SRM 605 (G10), and T01a (rescue knife).

I should receive them by the end of the week :)

[Edit] Make that 4...just ordered a SRM GB9-707 as well.

Nice, he seems to have a decent following. Let us know what you think of them

I've ordered from Lazy Lizard a couple of times, and he ships quickly.

He also gives all the knives a once over before shipping, which is more than you'll get from the other places.

Let us know what you think.

If you order by dozens, then, you can receive the knives in 2-3days from China to USA,because we have fast shipping option DHL express.

For now,we have 3 options for US guys:

1) China post,the cheapest way,but slowest,15-20days

2) HK post,the faster way,but higher shipping price. 10-15days.

3) DHL express, the fastest way,(2-3days to US),but only suitable for Wholesaler,Actually,If you order goods more than 2kgs,DHL is cheaper than HK post, and if you order goods more than 10kgs,DHL even cheaper than China post.

BTW,the Ebay seller who sales in US,They are our distributors, they wholesale from our store, and do distribution in US,so you can purchase from them in local in order to fast delivery.

I don't buy that many so that wouldn't work. Regarding the shipping times I believe on your website it shows a wider range 20-45, 15-30 etc. which is more reflective of the times I've experienced from other dealers from China.

So, I think those are best case scenarios aren't they? Exduct does have a wider selection however. I have registered with your site in case I ever decide to order something that I don't mind waiting for.

Sometimes,i write longer time, for example,I write 45-60days,but it not means goods will always come in these days.it depends on countries.

Acturally, some people might get the goods within 10days,but i will not tell them 10days,write longer 20days,then you will happy to receive goods shorter time,

You will unhappy if i tell you 20days,but you get in 30days,isn't it?

Meanwhile,we can not control all packages arrives on time,so "wide range" is the reason to write.sometimes,it might be delay because of bad weather, holiday time,or even custom problem etc.

Yes,this is the case:

when customer want cheaper, then will buy from China directly! but need faster? still worry custom problem ? so you can purchase from your local, although the price is higher.

Seller sirjoben sells some on Ebay. I have not purchased from them but I did contact them for some info on a knife and they wrote back quickly( same day). They are in Connecticut.

EDIT: I see he has some Enlan knives too.

One odd thing about the SRM T01a "Rescue Knife" is that one of the tools is a bottle opener rather than a can opener.

Now I rarely have an emergency need to open a can with a knife but where would one even find a bottle with a cap on it these days to need opening?

Obviously you're drinking some fairly lame beers these days..try Franziskaner http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/142/1946 yummy

Ah! I forgot about bottles of beer.

Here the beers don't open with a opener (thats very old), all brands make it with screw top and you can open it with your hands. Even it is much more popular the canned beer than bottle beer.

It's the same here really (although I think more people like to drink out of a bottle) but some caps aren't screw-top.

I can certainly recommend Lazy Lizard Gear. I ordered 3 knives on the 29th and received them today (31st). Two days!

Before ordering from Exduct I would suggest you see if Lazy Lizard has it in stock!
