Not really as its not in stock! I’m not sure how the seller profits from this. I suppose they get to keep your money for two weeks until they refund or hope you buy something else that isn’t so cheap.
A 980L for $17 is a really good buy, and from what I heard it’s around 900 lumens?

For the price, I don’t see how it could live up to the 980L.
The real question is, what driver is in it? 980 L’s pull at least 4 –5 amps.
The reflector is slightly different in the clones from the original 980L, I have one of each, but not this particular one.
In the 980L I have, the reflector has some space at the base around the LED, the clone’s reflector tightly encircles the LED. This one looks like my clone’s. The other differences are almost insignificant, and I think my clone is 90% as good as the original. The beam is not as warm, slightly larger hot spot with some slight rings around the corona, not noticed in actual use. Probably because of the reflector difference. It’s probably 90% as bright too.
It looks a very good copy, but who knows these days? For the price, it’s probably almost as good. I have a bias for this particular form factor, I think its just about perfect for my use. I like it very much. There are some cheaper clones about, but this one, if it is branded like the photos, is the most authentic looking one. Maybe it is a real 980L, and they have changed the reflectors.
I would love to know how this turns out, for this price, I would definitely buy another if it is genuine. Even if it’s a clone, IF it is as good as my bronze one, it is still a very good light and I think it’s a bargain for the price. Bit of a large IF though

The white wall beam shot (from 1m) looks better in the photo than in real life. I can see a line than runs from the edge to the centre and it is quite yellow
