Crazy deal!

I was informed about this (obviously temporary) special offer on MTF, and I wanted to let you guys know about it too. Sure you can bring it with you in your truck. Buy you a good buck knife and your still money ahead. And you actually got some tools that will be more useful for everday use.

If US-made Leatherman's compare to 4Sevens lights (both workhorses!), then Swiss-made Spirit's compare to Fenix lights (premium feeling!) .. erh.. haha

Leatherman MUT EOD for me. Everything I need to service my Colt M4 and then some (if only it held oil and patches too!). When I travel into deepest darkest anywhere, I carry both. I like the Swisstool Spirit X (really great deal) but have no need as I have an old Gerber Multi-Tool that I bought 16 years ago and it’s still in great shape and gets plenty of use. It is the first generation of the current Gerber ‘Flick’ and it lives in my car. As an added bonus, all three are/were made here. My pony tail just hides my mostly red neck. And no, I have no problems with stuff made elsewhere.

actually, i was more curious than anything. i just wanted to see if the deal was legit and canceled my order when i saw the estimated delivery date.

i’ve seen Amazon orders with far off estimated delivery dates ship within a few days, so there may be hope for people who bought this thing.

Coincidently enough, I just purchased a spirit X and it arrived yesterday. Saw a neat idea on the multitool forum where a leatherman clip was modded and attached to the spirit. Should be easy enough. Also going to mod it so the blade can be opened one handed.

Btw, having owned leatherman(s) and now this spirit….the spirit (imho) is much nicer…
