There's this thing I do where if I tend to visit a website a lot, and if it could use a makeover, I design one myself. So here's my new forum skin, with an overall darker, easier to read, and generally better-looking theme. It's admittedly a little rough around the edges, but I'm releasing it now if anyone would like to use it.
Recently updated for Stylish (should be cross-compatible with Stylebot).

The menu is too dark for me. I agree BLF isn’t that stylish, but it is easy to read.

I tried a different BLF theme a year or two ago, but there was a mass uprising and revolt. 
So I dropped that idea. 0:)
Okay, got it installed. It works fine for BLF but doesn’t play nice with other websites, like ebay. Is there a way to enable it only for a specific website?
Even though I’m quite content with the current theme, I wouldn’t be opposed to a refresh. I enjoy new themes in my lifestyle, but I’m still satisfied with what we have. It’s better than CPF (not intended as an unprovoked jab).
What’s funny is before I was a member I viewed the style as basic and amateurish. I actually avoided the site because of that. Now I’ve grown accustomed to it :bigsmile:

+1 on that. That’s why this browser-based theme option is nice to have. Individual users can change it around however they want without breaking the source site or angering other users.
Updated the main post with the Stylish port. Firefox handles CSS a little differently than Chrome, so I had to work on that a bit but it should now be cross-compatible with both Stylish and Stylebot. Let me know if there are any bugs.

I usually browse BFL late at night and I always wished there was a darker theme available. I had Stylish a while back and it slowed down firefox a bit, but I might give it a try again. Thanks Luxi!
