What are some small 1AA lights with clicky and clip? 14500 huge plus!

I am thinking a small single AA with a clip and clicky, one mode or two max. The most important think is SMALL, if it is much larger than a AA battery, I am not interested for my needs. For some reason, I don’t see many small 1AA lights.

My brain can only recall the Sipik Sk68. I know there are more, but 1AA is all I want to have.

Smallest one I own is the Balder SE-1 .

Adding a clicky or a clip adds size ...

Most of the small AA lights are clipless twisties .

That is fairly large considering it is just a 1AA. I have a few of those. I was thinking something more the size of the Proton Photon.

The EDC in my sig

+1

Or maybe a Nitecore D10 (or D11, don’t remember which one has the clip)

. . . and on a short battery, that adds a pretty large percentage to the length, so . . .

The Pelican 1910 has both and is small but AAA.

i always wondered what that center brown light in the BLF logo banner was. By the time I found out it was an Akoray K-106, I already had 6 sk68s, so didn't see the point of getting it, although, it was a big hit with BLF in general, and Mr Admin in particular highly recommending it. I might have to get it one day... when all my sipiks go kaput. not gonna happen. :)

Balder se is a good pick too

i'm not all that into a small AA... on a AA i'd rather have some features .. when ric made the smallest AA ever i thought ok maybe a AAA so it could be keychained ..but a AA ?

You mentioned my favorite, the Proton Pro, why not go with that?

Is Sunwayman V10A too large for you? It has clip, clicky and magnetic control ring..

Speedsix you must be kidding. You have more knowledge (and more lights) than many of us including myself so where's the point of us naming lights you are aware of (many!) or own already.. Btw have you listed your lights somewhere already?

I have it but it is not all that bright and doesn’t throw well. Love the size and it has one of the nicest clips on any light I have seen. I also love the side clicky.

What i don’t love is the multi-LED head that is just not up to a decent single led level. If they popped in a XP-G, that would be great.

I don’t know as much as you think. I know there must be some smaller AA lights out there that meet my wants but I don’t the model names or manufacturers. Many of the lights suggrsted are all new to me.

Also, thin is far more important to me than length. I find it much easier to carry a long thin light than a short fat one. My work edc is a 2-AAA penlight.

maybe not the perfect EDC with 14500, but with Eneloop AA thin, slim, new, and desirable:

well it ain’t a clicky simply cos there are no really small clickies. it’s an olight i2

runs 14500, HI becomes 250-300 lumens. MED and LOW stay pretty much the same. LOW is around 2 lumens

just and excellent little light

sk68 is my recommendation

It's good to have you here, gginobi!

I have an Eastward J09 that I like a lot. It has a sturdy clip, it’s very small for a AA light, and it’s pretty bright. The downside is the modes - high, 70%, strobe. I only use high and I use it every day. Other coworkers are always impressed by this light.
