I’m looking for a torch similar to the trustfire T6, it needs 2x18650’s, a XMLT, and SINGLE mode!!!, it can be a tailcap clicky, or maglite type button, and of course, a good throw. (and budget, lol)
Any suggestions folks??.
You don”t see many (any?) post”s that do not get answered & I don”t have a answer so my “guess” would be there is no such light? I”m curious now.

Just an hour ago, it’s an ultrafire 501D, it’s only the second one I found today anywhere on the net.
The other on was on Aliexpress, my fingers were hovering over the “pay” button when sanity prevailed, and I decided to look at their reviews first, luckily I did, because many Ali reviews are crap and it looks like paypal have blown them out.
So now comes the REAL hard part ……. Waiting.

I have a modded trustfire t1 that fills your requirements, however the driver is soldered into the pill and I have no desire to rip it out just to find out what it is, sorry. It also has a neutral xm-l (possibly u2) that I love to bits. It’s a damm nice light, can’t wait for it to start going dark at a reasonable time again. :party:
Neutral U2… Exceedingly unlikely… Probably a T5, MAYBE a T6…

No, T6 is the ceiling right now for neutral, lower BINs for warm

Ok I’m back, this it what it was sold as, along with me fawning over it once I’d got it,
Now, in reality, I read 1a at the tail cap with any of my cells using either a clamp meter or my avo, 2a when I tried it single cell, but quite frankly i’m not in the least fussed about the missing half amp, its a real nice light at a cheap price, the charger is pretty good and the cells do the job. I’m more likely wrong about the neutral than the u2 bit, but its certainly less blue than another cheaper xm-l I have in a zoomy or the q5 in my c8, hence me getting muddled and stating categorically (and wrongly) its neutral, wrong words, right intention on my part sorry. :bigsmile:

For future reference, Solarforce M8 would fit the bill ($62, not budget price unless you find a great deal).

Thanks for the tip between, I use my torches for EDC at work on the hip, the M8 head would be too chunky for that.
It still aint arrived, so getting a bit peed off now!!, I mailed the vendor and to his credit he replied the next day, (rabbitword, I’ve seen him mentioned on a thread here)
He said the delay was down to olympic security taking a long time to scan parcels.
Has anyone else had this excuse??.
Not yet, but I do have a light I ordered at the same time as some others that has not arrived yet, it may be genuine.

The little mother arrived 5mins ago, lovely looking thing at first glance, perfect finish, only con I see so far is a slight battery rattle, but I can live with that.
I’ll have to get my wife to make a 38mm web belt with a custom made loop, (she makes utility belts)
Now I can’t wait for nighttime, lol. (I’m even looking forward to going to work tomorrow night, how sad is that?)
