Hunting on ebay, I just came across the UF 980L on Dino — actually badged and seemingly identical $24 version…
Claimed 350 lumens (yeah, right, if it’s running 2xAA!) and have no idea about driver, but it appears to be the real thing.
Tmart has the 980L for $21.00 1000 Lumen, I have one on order
The DD one does indeed look identical, right down the the GITD o ring. If it really is identical, I’m kinda pissed having only recently bought the one from MF. But oh well.
Btw, that GITD o rings puts out lumens after it’s been on high. Heh.

I’ll bet that will be a clone of the UltraFire 980L. But if I’,m wrong please correct me and let me know. I’ll order one at that price.
I ordered the Dino one, it was marked as shipped about a week ago.
I also have one I bought from Manafont for $43 or thereabouts, and a cheapie bronze clone that cost $25 with a charger and two blue Trustfire 2400s from an ebay seller called LifeBike. I have two more on the way from another ebay seller, but they call it a Trustfire A9. $17 and a few cents with free shipping, others got the same torch for just over $16 shipped
If the pictures are accurate, the Dino one looks identical to my “genuine” Manafont one, I love this light, it is my favourite torch.
Will be able to compare better when it gets here.
The A9’s and the TMart one look the same as the clones. but that’s not a bad thing, my cheapie clone is easily 90% as good for less than half the price. Good luck, hope you get a good one too. It’s still a great light for the money IMHO

From what I have seen, the Tmart one was an incorrect listing. A couple of guys on here bought one and received a WF980L, an entirely different light. I would not risk it.
The Manafont one is the genuine UF-980L. Stainless bezels. Biggest hotspot, brightest and warmest tint, similar to Dino. 3 mode memory driver. Driver is marked UltraFire. Nice light. Best finish. My best and favourite torch.
The Dino one is a very good copy/clone. Stainless bezels. 5 mode driver with memory. Similar brightness and colour tint to original. Slighly smaller hotspot and slightly different reflector. Body shape is very slightly different. The plain section on the head end of the battery tube has parallel sides, not tapered as the original or ebay clones. Hard to notice if they are not side by side. It is marked UltraFire UF-980L. Good value for $25. I have one.
The A9 A6 Ebay ones are not quite as good but 90% or maybe a bit more of the original. Alloy bezels, different reflector. smaller hotspot, 5 mode no memory driver, not quite as bright, slightly whiter tint, but decent value for $16. The bodies and machining are good. Marked as UltraFire T6-13. Still nice quality torches. I have done worse than these, especially for the price. I got two for bike lights. I would buy more for friends any day.
These are better than the bronze coloured ebay clones, which are about the same price. They are still ok though.
Parts seem to be interchangeable on all lights, at least the bits I have tried so far. All have nice machining, nicely cut and tight threads. Very little between the bodies. No problems with any of them yet. I have carried one or another of these for the last couple of months.
If you can afford it, get the Manafont one, the Dino is a close second, but if you like the form factor and can live without stainless bezels and mode memory, the ebay A6 one won’t make you sad for $16
I would avoid the TMart one, it seems to have been an “error” on their part. Until someone who ordered one gets one, I would not.
I got the Dino one. It is quite bad quality with low OP. 5 mode with memory. Generic nameless driver. Should have paid more for the manafont set.

I bought this one. It is $50 so the Manafont one is cheaper at$43.
It is 3 mode, has www.ultrafire.net on the driver,
a tapered neck on the battery tube and stainless bezels.
It has a much stronger hotspot than my C8s and C10, and the seller, 365bid, has a good reputation here.
I think it’s genuine… what else do I look for - tailcap draw ?
Suncoaster, yours looks identical to mine, same body, reflector with large hole and black spacer on LED, driver with shield design and UltraFire brand, and tailswitch assembly with red insert and naked spring. It looks genuine.
Mine did not come in a box, with a holster or such a nice lanyard, yours looks a good buy considering the quality extras.
Tailcap draw seems very dependant on batteries so hard to say there.
Mine is the brightest warmest and throwiest light I have in this size so that should be a good indication, compare it with your other lights. Although my Keygos KE-5 seems to have a slightly brighter hot spot when white wall hunting, I prefer the 980L. It just throws more light out there, and fits nicer in my pocket. Plus it just feels nicer, it’s a tactile thing. Just kinda right somehow. If I had no other lights, I would be happy with the 980L.

Yes, I’m very happy with it, great fun in the mist the other night, very defined beam.
I’ll have to charge up a few 3100s and take it out to compare with the C8s and C10.
I received 980L yxesterday, from Dinodirect.
I never owned 980l, but Im convinced that its original.
Although: there is no GITD ring on the front (behind glass), and switch dosnt look very good from the outside, I mean when I unscrew it.
Also I think Im having little problems with the switch, I think Ill ha veto adjust it, to solve that.
But nevertheless Im convinced that its original, no blemishes on the body at all, maybe best anodizing in all of my flashlights , output is also consistent with reports.
Ecig, the Dino one is a very nice light, there are slight differences, none of which are significant I think. It may be just a new batch.
Suncoaster, I actually like the bezel as is. Mine is nicely polished with no sharp edges, and I think it suits the light and sets it off nicely.
Might have to get me one of those holsters. It’s starting to warm up down here, and I don’t want to leave the 980L behind when jacket weather ends 
It actually fits ok in my front pocket next to my wallet, which is where my EDC rides. I carried it like that for a while, but I prefer something a little smaller there

The Tmart looks like a poor copy.
