Question about cutter

ok, so on the 27th of Dec, i ordered 4 XM-L leds on 14mm stars.

i emailed the guy a few days ago, and have yet to hear squat....

the reason i ordered from them was i heard how great their customer service was. but now i get the feeling, more like im dealing with dealextreme.

(which order has been "pending" for the SAME amount of time lol)

whats up with them? have they shipped out XM-L's to any of you?

i feel like its taking for ever JUST for a response.  its fine if hes backordered, he just needs to TELL me

of course they email me right after, its not on back order, they are just really slow from the sounds of it

so much for spending a little extra for a quicker product.  im very dissappointed in Cutter AND their response. i expect this kind of response from ebay vendors....

i spend 52 dollars for only 4 XM-L's i could get at the same speed from KD for 9 each.....

someone say "owned"

Try busy , the XM-L is a great hit , and everyone wants them , and cutter was working hard to get orders out before Christmas .

Cutter sends emitters all over the world , and I would expect that there still busy getting XM-L's out to customers .

Im lucky in a way , I can drive over and buy them over the counter [ if there in stock ] .

Hmmmm , speaking of cutter , wonder if they have and XP-G S2 S3  ???

Seems like I read that they were closing for two weeks at Christmas or something like that. The group buy wanted to hurry and get their order in to beat the closing.

They told me they were back the 10th if memory serves = Yesterday !

So a bit hard for them to reply , if there on there Christmas break , and the correspondence has most likely backed up ... 2 Weeks !

Im not going to contact them until at least next week , regarding XP-G S2 S3 .... And something else I had in mind ... For BLF !

They left my friend hanging for about 4weeks ... never once ansered an email or did a friggin thing except take his and my money ..

I can guarentee that if it were possible to walk in the door ... my friend would have gone in with a bat ... he was hugely pissed off at them .

My opinion is  they ought to move to china .. they act like  your normal retarded chinese wholesaler ..A**holes  who will never see a dime of mine again ..

I laughed when I read this ... unbelievably  non-existant customer service ..absolute  disrespect ...unbelievable that they are in business .

Go to LED Supply. Why F with overseas at all? I never understand that.

All of my triple XPG's and MCE's came from them in two days. They have XML's now also, along with Carlco optics.

I ordered one XML from KD on 25/12  posting 31/12  left hk 5/1  too bad the postal service are currently very slow  , maybe tomorrow is here.

I suspect that most the of guys whom set an online shop are birds of the same feather, chineses or germans they behave in average the same.

Be aware of the fancy good looking site ones , they are the worst, one 'quality the customer first' is sc$%%w me now.

Illumination supply-new CPF dealer has 12.8mm XM-L's and empty P60 pills/reflectors. Got mine in 2 days. There is no reason to have to go to DX/KD for XML's anymore. I don't know why anyone even tries.

Thanks for the tip, Rich...not much of a selection, but not a bad price on the xm-l emitters.  I may need to pick a couple up.

Have I mentioned you guys are a bad influence on me?

That's a good source if you're in a hurry or maybe buying a bunch, but KD sells a XM-L on a 16mm star for $9.23 and free shipping. This place is $10 plus $5 shipping. 50% more money. Good to know there are alternatives though. Considering what an XM-L can do, they are all good deals.

didnt know of that site, thanks for the heads-up

id prefer 14mm, as they center perfect in the 14mm spot for the Aurora V6 bodies on DX.

im not a huge p60 lover due to heat sink issues

Cutter absolutely sucks ..they have zero customer service and the problem we had wasn't related to the holiday whatsoever .We had ordered stuff mid November ..They had our money with no response for over 2 months . these idiots were worse than a chinese vendor  as far as taking your money and ignoring you .It was my friend and his purchase that I went in on with him  but had it been mine I would have  called the credit card company stopped payment and put an end to the stupidity ...This is the last company i would ever do business with .Avoid them like the plague

Owned .. they did the same thing to us ... it was just hugely insulting to have a company playing peek a boo games .. cutter sucks ..thanks for the info on us based companies  .  Illumination supply ..cool .. .appreciate   the source.
