I’m in!

unconditionally NO !!
Price would be the factor.

This!

I put in under $75.00USD. Are you in, now?

Under $65 shipped yes, under $70 most likely.

Yes as long as they accept paypal with out a 4% fee.

I paid $65USD shipped for my Sky Ray King and I would gladly have paid 10USD more for a black one. It blows every other light away in terms of value or bang for the buck IMO.

$75USD shipped would be the MAXIMUM price.

+1

The color doesn't trip me up that much so I'm not sure the black would be worth the premium unless the coating is guaranteed HAIII then that'd be worth a little extra.

I think that would be a no, then. I don’t know for certain if HAIII is a given. I’m not excluding it, however.

65 would be the max I would pay for it.

Since the way you put the question works out to less than $37.50 per King, I’d definitely be in…

Please re-read. 2 = to. I couldn’t fit the entire word. I guess you don’t text! I’ll try to clarify. Thanks.

How can I answer this question?

$74.99 = Absolutely NO. Its just an anodize coating color. Nothing in the manufacturing process would justify the added $20 expense. In fact, it might actually cost less for a high volume anodize supplier to run it in black given that it is a far more common color across a wide array of industries.

$55 = Probably NO. It still forces me to pass through the stupid Disco mode every power cycle. It still has a visible PWM.

$40 = Maybe just to see what its all about. I already have a TR-J12 and Apex 5T6 for multi-emitter flood. $40 is still a lot of money for a redundant addition to my collection. I guess they would have to reprogram the EPROM for me to get really interested in it. I already have one disco light (TR-J12)… one is already too much.

I have gone through several DIY mods on several lights to eliminate disco (and to a lesser degree PWM). It would have to be a really outstanding light, and very different design from what I already have for me to tolerate more additions of either.

I have been patiently waiting for this to happen and will buy at least one when it finally gets released.

If someone actually manages to get 200pcs, there should also be some room for driver improvements. High, Mid, Low + hidden strobe, sos... no memory and higher PWM for example.

If that happens then I may be in for two/would be willing to pay more.

Fair enough. I’d say you’re a “no”!

Unconditionally nope, but if there will be NW option available (T6 3C, preferably) then I am in.
