I put through 2 orders last week. One with www.solarforceflashlight-sales.com and another from www.intl-outdoor.com . Received shipping notification and tracking number from both on Thursday last week. Solarforceflashlight-sales in particular usually actually ship on the same day they say they do, or the next day at the latest. Tracking information usually comes up on the Hongkong Post website about 24 hours or so after that. But not this time. Not for either package. And it’s now Monday night (in Australia, anyway).
I’ve also noticed that the Hongkong Post website is throwing out “busy” messages very frequently when trying to look up a tracking number over the last few days. Is anyone else noticing this? Is anyone else having the same problem with tracking info not coming up when it should like I am?
I had a tracking # mysteriously vanish from the system.
Was processed thru Hong Kong post, then vanished for 5 days.
Day 6 it reappeared , and had been sitting in New York for 4 days.
Nothing to worry about with those sellers. If they say they shipped it.

I got word from a mainland vendor just yesterday that all express shipments from China using common couriers such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc… are receiving a strict inspection these days which can severely delay delivery. He stated that domestic stocks will be the fastest option in the future.
Interesting. I wonder if that has something to do with the recent policy change that has basically prohibited the shipment of perfume, lighters and lithium batteries by air mail?
Of particular relevance to us of course are lithium batteries. We’ve pretty much seen the end of flashlight/battery bundles delivered in reasonable time frames from HK. Not that I care about such things myself as I buy my batteries locally, but it’s going to have a widespread effect.
