looking for info on thrunite tn11s

anybody know if the 800 lumens can be reached using only one 18650 or do i need 2x18650. or can i just use 3 cr123’s.

just trying to gather up some info before i actually purchase this light.

Yes,800 can be reached by a single battery, but at that draw, battery sag happens quickly and thermal sag will as well.TN 11s was reviewed by turbo BB and if you search for it he has great info on this light. It's a nice light but I dont think 800+lumens will last long,he mentioned about a 100 lumen sag in the first minute. In contrast, the catapult v3 is only rated at 760 lumens and that's driven at 3.5 amps.TN 11s also has an extender to run 2x18650,so options are there, hope that helped some.

yes that did help some. 100 lumen drop in one minute will probably do fine since this light will strictly be used for home self defense. so say if i left the battery fully charged and it sits in the light for 1 month without being turned on, now will i still get the max 800 lumen? or say if i threw in a half charged battery, will i still get 800 lumens for the first minute?

i have looked at turbo’s review on here and watched his video, and either i didnt find the answer or i just missed it.
