Im looking for a headlight for my specialized. Doesn’t need a blinking mode I am fine with a steady only. I have a 504b that came with a drop in and that lights up the road awesome but I’m not sure if that is the best to use. I was also just holding it with my hand too. So I need a recomendation on a light and a handlebar mount. At least a hour run time

Bicycles are better served with a floodier light. That said I find XM-L P60 drop ins fantastic for bicycling. They have a nice wide flood with enough throw due to shear brute force. As always when using these high powered modules you need to wrap the module in foil so that it wedges tightly in the head to maximize thermal conductivity to preven overheating the led.

P60 or similar and an aspheric zoomie work pretty well.
A C8 style light and a Twofish Lockblock .
