I have started a blog about my eyes

Hello everyone. I have decided to start a blog about my life from the blind side. There are medical reports out there and support foundations for folks with vision loss, but there is little to nothing out there that I know of from the point of view of the person who is blind. My goal in doing this is to share with folks what it is like to live with a visual impairment or blindness. I am not en english major or a writer, so it will simply be my thoughts put into type as they come. I am determined to not let this get me down and typing this blog is one way to help give back and help others understand what life is like from the blind side.

Huh, that was wierd, when I tried going to it. I had to sign in with my google account. But when I got to the blog, it just said I didn’t have access.

Yeah, doesn't work for me either. You need to go into settings and make it public.

The settings say that the blog is public. Maybe it was the wrong link? try this:

Works now. :)

Yep, works now.

I am glad I figured it out. So it is working ok?

Yep, its working fine. The fact that you have set up a blog and are doing all of this without your sight amazes me.

Thanks Paul for the link. I've subscribed and following.

Thanks for the link, Paul, and for sharing your experiences.

And you’ve already got a comment.

Thanks Paul, I always knew the school system did a poor job with people near the edge. To me it seemed barely functional most of the time anyway. I have often solved problems by visualizing the situation. I do not know what I would do if I had been born without(or lost) the ability to see or put the world in context. Please keep us posted with the places/resources you come across that help you deal with this challenge. Believe you have potential and the inspiration to overcome this and the skills needed and joy of accomplishment will follow. Sounds sloppy but it’s true. Keep up the positive attitude.

This blogging stuff is fun.
