2-AA Gordon Upgrade ?

I was rummaging through my "Junk" drawer in the garage and found this Gordon, 2-AA, aluminum flashlight. (Harbor Freight http://www.harborfreight.com/adjustable-beam-3d-2aa-flashlights-3851.html) I think I purchased it with the 3-D, many years ago, it has a side switch, twisty focus head, decent "O" rings. I like the small thin size, but hate the Beam.

The Beam is terrible (think Rings of Saturn) not very bright, etc. It appears to be very similar to the Mini-Mag Pro.

Has anyone modded this one or the Mini-Mag AA, with a LED upgrade kit?

What's involved, What can I realistically Expect?, is there a thread on this ? (I did a search didn't find what I was looking for)

If it cannot be modded, I have a Fenix E05, Fenix LD01, ITP-A03(upgrade), for close-up work.

Any comments would be appreciated.

Not sure if its even worth modding, maybe keep it stock for when you feel down, just turn it on an think to yourself “It could be worse” :bigsmile:

Or keep it as a control light when comparing your new purchases, just a tought.
