Has anybody tried this OEM light from CNQG? Loading... Also, is there a good unbranded c8 or p60 host out there?
If nobody else has it I might try it out.
The design of the cooling fins is really appealing to me. Plus I don’t have any OP reflectored lights, and I want to try one out.
Mine should be in hand in about a week. Will let you all know then.

That c8 does look nice. I think I might have to get both. Nice find.
I’ve certainly been eyeing this one up. Anyone with experience know if this will take a P60 without too much fuss?

It’s more the P60 reflector size that I’m interested in. The other issue is I haven’t tried modding a light yet and haven’t used a solder in about 20 years, so I’m thinking a P60 is a good place to start… :~
Edit: actually that head size is in the same kind of ball park as a P60 size. So a good 17mm driver + 16mm XML emitter, easy. What am I talking about.
There are a lot of problems with this one. There was a thread on it a few months ago. One member bought it and couldn’t get it to work, sold it to BLF’er PCC and he had to do a lot of custom work on his lathe and hand fabricating parts to get it to work right. Biggest problem IIRC was that the battery extension tube is too smal ID for 26650 cell.
