The light has been modified with a copper heat sink and a Nichia 219 led, (from Illumination Supply). The reflector has been stippled, to give some spill to the beam. Please look over the thread above, so you can see the progression.

Considering the light alone cost $20, you're getting a O-L modded light for only ten bucks more! That's an outstanding deal considering the work he's done to it.
The light came in a couple of weeks ago as I was going out of town. I left it with a friend. He ran down the batteries playing with it. I had to use an axe to hack it out of his lumen grubbing hands. It’s a SWEET little light. Tight hot spot, nice large, even spill. Justin did an excellent job on it.
It’s a shame that no commercial makers seem to want to offer any high-CRI, neutral white lights. Those are what LED flashlights should be.
