URGENT... Looking for 1D tint beamshots?

Sorry for the 5-alarm fire, but I am looking for 1D beamshots… white wall, in the field, anything goes.

I am wondering just how blue this tint BIN really is.

thanks in advance!!

Hi Kramer, I have some U2 1D’s I’ve been using in my series tests along with another neutral tint ~4500K? Next time I’m home I can throw a tir on each and point the camera at the ceiling. They are definitely a cool white but not really blue or green. Sorry but I only get home a few times a week so likely over the weekend. I’ll watch this thread ’till then. 1D is right on the BBR line so it depends on where you are in the box right?

looking for something else and found this.
comparison of various tints. Let me know if you still want the “ceiling shot”.

————-XML T6 1A tint—————— XML T6 1D tint—————-XML T6 3C tint

——XML T6 1A tint———— XML T6 1D tint———-XPG R4 3D tint———XRE Q3 5C tint

Would E1320 or someone else be interested in creating a thread of beamshots with all the xm-l available tints?
I think it may be a worthwhile stickied thread

Keep in mind that tints shift with current, especially cool whites.

Also when all compared they will appear jut a bit different as the eye interprets a color differently in the presence of another color. Actually the light spill will slightly contaminate some tints. If the cool tins are in a row that will not be noticeable.

For example in the first photo the 1D looks white. In the second photo the 1D look like it's a shade of blue surrounded by a bit of green, also the 1A look like straight blue. Being a fan of 1A (especially compared to 1B or 1C) I can say the eye will not perceive the light a blue (as represented in the second photo), but as white. We will most likely perceive it as blue when we definitely want a neutral white or warm white light and we have seen those before/we know how they look like or they affect leaves, etc.
