I’ve been eyeing the Romisen RC-27 II Q5 2-Mode Flood-to-Throw LED Flashlight for awhile now. Before I pull the trigger on this I wanted to know if I should be looking at some other options. I would like to keep this under $20.00.

Well, if you are willing to go the lion route I would recommend the trustfire z8. I love mine and johnnymac reviewed it here.

Romisen RC-27 is 2xAAA?

How about 1xAA/14500 zoomies? i wont stop admiring my DX Romisen RC-29.

Verosale.com has the SK68 clone with 3-modes for 6.50$ shipped (i havent bought it, i am a snob).
