Its obviously not made in Japan, but nevertheless, anybody has this and something similar (few hundreds meters range and low price)?

Im thinking to buy one but I dont know nothing about these things, I dont know if they make large errors, etc.

A while ago I used one of the professional ones and it worked really well. Considering how cheap the one you linked to is I doubt it will work well but would love to be proven wrong. :)

I could have used one of those back in Alaska during my hunting trips.

Well, if you only need rough numbers.. working range of 5-700m and an accuracy of 1m.. is that really useful?
