I don’t think this is a repeat, because it’s a tad different, but that is just like the Ultrafire XM-L single 18650 zoomy i’ve linked to before:

Hey - any of you guys with one of these larger form factor 18650 XM-L zoomies - have you found a definite benefit to the added size? We can get much smaller 18650 zoomies, and some even have decent heat-sinking, or can be modded to do so. But I have one like this one linked, and it seems to have a excellent run times, is a freaking powerhouse, and heat seems to be way better managed than maybe a smaller torch would allow. But I’m also pretty new to this stuff.
This zoomy is not as convenient to use or carry, really. It’s big and long, no knurling, and no clip or lanyard loop. But my god, the zoom mechanism is smooth as butter, and it feels robust and just has that feel of quality just by weight alone. Pill seems to be well thought out. And the thing throws like crazy. It is one of my favorite lights, and it seems very rarely mentioned on BLF.
Maybe I just wanna find another owner of one of these who is more experienced than I am, who also recognizes the value I think I found. 
I’ve recommended these things a few times. Seem like good budget biking/shooting/hiking torches for the price. Certainly works well for me.
