My first mod..

Hi Guys,

Just ordered 2 of the Manafront 2 x Ultrafire Cree T6 3-Mode Memory LED Drop-in Modules for an Ultrafire 502b (which I was impressed with initially) and a 501B that I am expecting tomorrow.

I have an Ultrafire C8 with XM-L which is awesome for it’s size and can’t wait for the drop-ins to make these smaller lights SUPER throwee!! (is that a word??? throwee…hmmmmmmm Linguistics….)

My first Mod!!!!

Shoot…. I am Addicted… Bummer… Sweet! Shoot, tell the wife,…..Nah… Yeah… she’s on vacation tomorrow… never mind..She’ll be fine.

Careful, modding lights is just as addicting as buying them, but a heck of  a lot more fun! Tongue Out

Definately understand that comment. I have more leds on 16mm stars, and drivers then I have lights to put them in. Silly

Welcome to the wonderful world of modding.

Three Tanna leaves to give him life, nine to give him movement. But what if he eats the whole bag?

Unfortunately I have over 25 years in electronics and have been trained in micro miniature soldering as well as the IPC 610 and J-STD-001 for circuit board soldering. I am also the manager of electronics assembly at my company so I have access to excellent tools and equipment. So I can see myself delving into mods a bit deeper that is probably healthy (I’m pretty OC to begin with).
