Welcome to BLF! Yeah, stay away from ALL Ultrafire batteries. They are very unpredictable as to what you'll get. Learn Li-Ion safety immediately too! (Someone else may have some good links to post.) Stick with protected 18650's which are based on Sanyo or Panasonic cells. Maybe not the cheapest, but here are 2 protected Sanyo's from I-O-S. (Note that the IOS has the Panasonic's which are rated to higher mAh, but you won't get those capacities since those higher capacities are rated down to 2.5v).
I'd suggest any protected Sanyo or Panasonic based cells, for example XTAR 2600mAh (Sanyo) or 3100mAh (Panasonic).
I have bought these directly from XTAR, but since they don't sell anymore to some countries like Finland (because of local XTAR dealer with exclusive rights to import XTAR cells), I just had to buy some more from bestvaping.net. Haven't received them yet, but others have praised the shop..
Lol,i read that some while ago now.
Thanks all for the welcome and advice.Im reading an awsome thread atm on here.Give similar advice and links.I am UK based so it helps if ther over this side of the pond. That said, its a small world as we all know.
I seem to remember reading that the TM11 is a bit fussy about what batteries it uses - can’t recall whether flat tops or button tops give problems. Best check through some reviews before you buy. If you want spares, I’d recommend getting a complete set of 4, rather than, say 2 - best to ensure that they are all the same voltage before using.
The efest site recommended is good, but postage will be about $10 - ÂŁ11 on top for 4 batteries. Still cheaper than getting from any UK supplier. If you do want them quick, Torch Direct (part of same group as Xtar UK distributor) have these. which are reasonable value.
If you want to go ebay, torchythebattery boy (a member here) has been recommended by some UK members.
BTW, what does “Yellow People” in your OP mean?
Welcome to the forum DK. I thought maybe you were Nanook of the North. Went to school as a mite in Mildenhall where they taught me cursive. Came back to U.S. and wasn’t allowed to use it in second grade. Never picked it up since. I go back and forth on spellcheck or whatever Apple uses(where did that word come from?). Annoying, but so are my thumbs.
Ok fellas, thanks again for ya WARM WELCOME, help on the batteries, links and what to stay away from when buying.
Fell in and bought the TN31 from the onestopthrowshop, like ya do when searching the net and thers Nowt on the tele……dont tell mi Mrs,sshhh.Knobody warned me about that site and how fatal it is when youve seen the TN31
