Protected Trustfire Flames 18650 cells - Manafont

Hey Guys, I was just checking, does anyone know if manafont sells the genuine Trustfire Flames? Just a while back there was a big deal about non genuine cells from deal extreme. This is the link to the page that is offering the cells on manafont:

Thanks in advance because I know I can always rely on someone to answer my questions

Also I hold nothing against manafont and have had good experiences with them, i am more concerned about them unknowingly selling non genuine or dodgy products.

manafont is pretty trustworthy and has a recommended rating on this site, i would trust that these are genuine. in fact i am interested in those to replace my crap ultrafire red 3000mah 18650s

I just bought a set of the new 3000mah TrustFire from Manafont. From what I understand, they’re at least as good as the “flames” version you’re looking at, if not maybe a little better. Certainly not 3000mah though.

it seems this flame is 2400mAh.

Red is surely not real 3000.blue is terrible if you use a high power flashlight.

See this one on Aliexpress.

I saw in HKJ's Battery Summary that the TF Flame 3000's can handle higher amps better than the 2400's. Also notice the difference in the "discharge, down to 3.6 volt" graph. Also, here is link to HKJ's review on the 3000mAh. I would choose the TF Flame 3000mAh version over the 2400's.

thank you Garry,

that’s really a nice review.

the golden one does show a better performance.

If these ones are better I can spare an extra dollar for them, thanks guys!

Yeah, after looking at the charts, the 3000mah TrustFire is certainly way better than the older flames version, but it’s also far from the very best battery out there. Pretty good on the bang for your buck scale I’d say though.

The MF Trustfire 3000maH flames I've purchased there were legitimate. They had the hologram sticker on the shrink wrap, plus the genuine hologram cell wrap, which the fakes don't have. I can't test the capacity, but they work well for me...

+1 to manafont for legitimate cells…all the ones I got through them were great…

They cost more and if you get as unlucky as me, they can have almost same capacity as DD’s TF 2400mAh’s and give LESS amperage

Still, there seems to be nowadays more positive feedback on them than negative, so I 'm thinking that maybe I just happened to get 2 2packs of bad ones...

Well, I went out and bought a pair of those golden trustfire flames(3000 mAh) cells, so I guess I will find out in a couple of weeks  I trust Manafont and from all the opinions I was given I trust that they will serve me well

Thanks Guys

CheapThrills, did you buy yours from Manafont? I do kinda remember you posting about yours.

A little bit better? Here’s the comparison. That graph speaks for itself 8)
PS: I still have old TF, but after I’ve checked all reviews by H, I would say that these TF 3000 are the best (for this price, I mean)

Yeah I also checked out Soshine 2800 mAh batteries and they don’t look like they are much better than the Trustfire 3000 mAh cells, either that or I need to learn how to read graphs

I have a bunch of TF flame 3000 batteries, for now on though I’ll be purchasing panasonic ncr 18650as though, a much better battery without shelling out that much more coin.

They really shine compared to the flames in my DD U2 p60 dropin in my special edition solarforce host, about 6 layers of tinfoil coated lightly in arctic silver 5 fits very snugly into the body and the light heats up very quickly.

Ceiling bounce puts it about the same as my crelant 7g5 *done by side by side comparison and by eye

Yeah, those Panasonics are one of the best, but, IMO, the price, comparing to TF 3000, is too high. Not best bung for the buck :expressionless: And protected NCRs cost twice.
