I was looking through MF and found this LIGHT , and was wondering if anyone had seen it or used it or even torn it apart. I want a side clicky smallish light and wondering if this could be modded with just a new LED (xpg2, or nichia 219 or something like that). If anyone has any information on this light I would be happy with all information provided. Driver size led star size stuff like that would be wonderful

I've had a few of them .. They are q3's and pretty bright as a single mode and mine were pretty nice color as well .. Dx had a brinyte 3 mode ..a pd-60?? cr123 and a q3.bad tint dumb high low and strobe which didn't have the adaptability of the small sun and was only a cr123 light .. The brumyte had a flat tail and a odd lil cheapo clip .. but lights are questionable at best Generally the threads just suck ..The aluminum feels like solder (lame)..I think i paid 9$ for the c55 and 12$ for the brinyte ..truth is neither is a memorable light .Tank made better version of it too with better materials better knurling better tint but only in a 18650 and a cr123 But were twice the price ..I have a 18650 tank version that would be worth modding if tank hadn't already put in a q5 with a great tint ......i can think of better hosts to mod.

Really want a side switch smaller sized light that hopefully can be modded to a warm tint. I have some warm tint xre’s and should be receiving some warm tint xte’s. Surely there is something out there on the market that fits that bill.

Boaz are you saying that i should be able to swap out the led in this light and it is a ok light? Just wanted to make sure that it come apart easily and stuff is not glued in.
