How often do you receive defective or doa products?

I was just wondering because one of the lights i ordered from dx was doa.
This was my first time ordering from out of the country and now just a little hesitant on ordering any more from them.I ordered the UF hd2010 from
tmart and came in with the box all smashed up but the light was fine.I just hate
dealing with returns.

One out of 20 = 5%.
But I suspected that it was going to be rubbish right after pressing the buy button.

I do the clean, tighten and lube thing when I get a new light, it seems to eliminate
immediate faults.

i received a terralux 100 from Batt Junct doa & my balder SE-1 from Lighthound died in a couple weeks. Both were resolved quickly. That is from over 25 purchases.
