Dorcy mg-300 6aa light

Maybe a good nase to mod

Saw this at a local hardware store and thought maybe a good nase to lightto modify for all the aa users out the re

That looks like a bad ass & tough light. Would be a great light to mod for someone in construction or has a habit of dropping his light from the third floor of buildings. Shame that link says it's no longer available. I'm sure you could find one somewhere if you looked hard enough.

I could go and pick one up at the local store i saw it at

There you go, do it! I'd love to see what you find inside of it. How much is it selling for? It would make a great shop light for a mechanic or to be tossed in a boat for a boater.

I think it is was less than $25. They also had some little 90’ 3aaa jobby as well

i would like 2 see this lite 2. 6aa could be the start of something big!!

Basically, two 3AA holders together, 3S/2P Will still run normal 3.6-4.0 voltage. It will be 3S/2P as Dorcy does all their 6x holders that way.

Couldn't put two Li-ions in it, because the voltage would be too high. Would have to change the driver for that. 18650's should fit no problem and even 26650's should fit, since that's still smaller diameter than 3AA batteries.

I'm surprised they are doing AA, since they always have done AAA. I wonder if it's a misprint.

This one said 170 lumens
like this one says

so its 2 rows of 3 batteries ? side by side from the looks of the picture
